Heya heya folks just a quick heads up for everyone. Due to some issues with permits on the drivers stand ect ive had to push the opening a little bit so here it is.


Due to Unforeseen Circumstances The Vegas RC Raceway will OPEN on JAN 20th 2011.

All free passes will still be accepted and still be entered for the **Free track time for life** Raffle

what are the projected hours? are you going to stay true to the vegas fashion and have a 24/7 racetrack?

Im going to be open 7 days a week from 10am to 10 or 11pm for the first few months until i decide which day to take off. My racing days are going to be tues and sats. once i get rolling i will have onroad racing twice a month on alternating sundays from hobby town so as not to conflict with their race program.

Hey Everyone,

I know a lot of racers (including myself) are getting extremely ancy to run at THE Vegas R/C Raceway. Eric has been working non stop to get this place going. Everything is coming together nicely now, finally all the hard work is finished, the layout is 100% complete piped and all, the drivers stand is built, the tables have been in, all that needs to be finished is the pro shop and the crawling station.

We spent 9 hours on the track yesterday making sure everything is squared away and ready for some cars to be on it. I was lucky enough to get a few laps in on the track. The traction is insane there is tons of grip. The elevation changes on the track are tons of fun too, theres a few things I have never seen before. Eric is definately doing it right and this facility is going to be Top Notch.

Get your cars ready as openning day approaches.

If you guys have any questions I know myself and Eric would be more than happy to help you out.

yes its true shane, The place is finished minus TVS and the inspectors did me dirty the fire one resched to tomorrow so the final inspection had to be re done aswell. As soon as they are done ill be opened up. For now though If someone wants to come down and give the place a try toss me an email and il get you in.

Is the track 1/18 T2 friendly? Has the Reedy 9500 kv motor...

Yeah i dont think you would have any problems with a 1/18th on my track, It would be fun stuff.

A little heads up for everyone. 99% of the work is done and ready, Im just having issues with the inspectors over a silly issue. I have the ability to open now. I just have to go to the city on Monday Morning and get the crap to hang on my wall.

So having said that, Im truly sorry about the hold up but in this case, The wait is well worth the reward.

Well after all the waiting and crap.....Im open! tonight was wonderful and everything went according to plan..come down and have a blast folks! Joking aside this track has more traction then ive seen in a long time, i think everyone will enjoy it.

credit card machine will be here on thurs so cash only till then.

I am Glad you enjoyed yourself! I have had an absolute blast driving on the track rather than working on it!. I hope to see a lot of you guys at the track spread the word the first official club race will be Tuesday February 1st.

Just a little heads up guys. The raffle for the Free track time for life is on saturday! Anyone that has a free pass from the boulder city race or anyone purchasing practice time on saturday will be entered in the raffle. Raffle will be held at 945pm and the winner must be present.

Also the CC machine is in now so people can use credit cards and debit cards...hell i even take diners club baby! lol
