so mod will be your 2 car class..
That's because at all the other tracks the 17.5 is the mod class.

ok everyone is putting in their 2 cents so here is mine...

class 1- "spec" out the box thats it

class2- "pro/17.5" mix match parts among rtr kits, 17.5 motors and RTR brushless systems only, sct tires...

class3. 4wd mod

Just curious, what is the reasoning on keeping 4wd in it's own class?

my 4wd is massively faster and would do major damage to a 2wd if i hit it.

cause some guys like to run both classes, and i doubt the 4 wheel guys would want to cap off there motor limit at 17.5 ya know? cause the 4wds can probably handle a little more motor and they prolly handle a tad better with more traction, but thats just my personal reasoning, just like how mod 2 wheel buggy and 4 wheel mod buggy are seperate

you also cant run a 4x4 on a 540 motor...
the guys that have tried have had major problems. we run the 550's or hv motors.

They seem massively faster, but really are not. I run a jammin with a 550 and this weekend Kash ran a 2wd slash with a 10.5 and down the straight away there was not that much difference. The 4.5 hv puts alot of power out, but you have to be smooth to really put much of it to use to the ground. If you are referring to 1/8 scale conversions then I understand.

The top 2 4wd's at pit stop's cash race last week had stock vxl's...
They come off the track just warm so I'd say that 550's are not a must in 4wdSC

ok that motor isnt a 540... its got a much larger rotor
i missed that race as i was on vacation... you can ask anyone that races on a weekly basis and they will tell you that timmy, pete and myself are way faster than the vxl guys on a weekly basis.

Na dog i am coming with mod sct so we got 3 drivers now. Keeping it small and quality wheels, no riff raff to pass everylap, sweet. Reagle you should step up son and bring extra money for the cheeseburgers .

I would put my money on a slower combo on Jason's and Medina's rides any day. But that's just me.

I think Medina got this correct. I think if these were the rules everyone has a place to run. I did not see a lot of mod SCT's in the results anywhere and we didn't get them last year. This way in the pro 17.5 class you could run a stock slash and still be competitive.
The only question I have in this class is this
Do I allow any tire? or any RTR tire?
(the jconcepts tire is not a RTR tire, it comes in a Team Kit)

Yes we are running electric 1/8 scale.

You should be allowed to run any tire since its not a spec class.
