If it was a kid that looked 6 in a hoody...that's my boy

I asked him if he was hit by a buggy and he smiled and said no, but I'm not sure if that is a yes or no...he was like Daddddd!

So if it was him I'll get one for you

It really was nobodys fault. I just couldn't believe he took a hit like that and didn't flinch! Buggy was completely wound out down the straight

My son was there last night helping with marshalling. If my son accidentally stepped out into your buggy please pm me and I'll take care of it.

I know one of my first practice days I was helping marshall and I stepped back into a lane to get out of the way and a b44 hit my foot.

My foot won and the b4 was destroyed. It was an expensive day and a great lesson learned for me

Good luck regardless.
It wasn't your boy that was hit. It was the other young guy that was running that white and black Slash last night. He was ok.

Damn Bob I doing a moment of silence for your 4.1 right now. Kinda reminds me of my Academy car that I broke the front end.

Now if Chris runs his new 4.1 tonight will he break it the first day or will it make it to the weekend?

All I heard was the sound of broken plastic that happens on those buggies. I knew something went wrong at that point. Then when the car was held up in two pieces with one piece in each hand that was priceless with that kids face.

Im not worried about the car or money. I was just worried about the health of the boy. It was one of the hardest hits I have ever seen! Josh was right we were going full bore down the back straight! He did look real worried carrying it off the track but he didn't limp or skip a step. I still cant believe it!

I think he was hit in the back of his boot. The boys face did looked kinda scared like someone was going to yell at him. He is pretty new to the hobby. I was helping him and his dad in the shop last night pick up a few tools to check ride height and camber. They are very cool.

I'm sure he was more worried about you being pissed and possibly flying off the handle but your not like that and with guys all laughing I think he felt better. I think he might of been a little embarrassed to since he is new and you don't really know how fast those 2wd mod buggies move and come up on you and especially when your marshalling. They get to you so quick.

Could of been worse as you could of hit me and then you would need way more than a chassis. You might of needed a whole car. That or I might of ate it.

Man, i wish I could be there for practice... but I'll be there for Sunday. After following all the action with the post I see there was an "incident". All I can say is that the group that races at Bumps shows great professionalism. Even with a car getting broken, the first thing that was said was about the kid involved being okay, even from the driver of the car . This shows how great a group the bumps group is. This is why the racing, and even practice, at bumps is truely top notch and why so many people would travel to be a part of it.

Practice was fairly busy tonight Not bad for the first Wed of offroad and the new schedule. It will take a few weeks for everyone to know we run offroad on Wed. Looks like its woeking out nicely. I saw a few guys that ran practice both days. Can't beat that.

I had to show up both days. Tuesday I barely put a pack through my car and I was at the track from 5ish - 9. It was well worth the wait...

It was cool to see several people showing up both nights for sure.
