I like the idea of rolling starts - no pit person needed.
What if we went to only 8 cars in the mains?
Can 8 of you roll the track without wrecking into each other?
We do rolling starts in oval and they wreck into each other - and they only have 2 corners.

I like the rolling start. Maybe we can practice them during the heat races.

Its frinking awesome that we can run our nitro 1/8 buggys during the winter at a very cool track. And love the track food!

Tomorrow (Wed) is offroad racing, try to make it out before we lose it to the oval guys (who make a showing week after week). I'll be out with SC trucks. Racing starts at 7 & goes till about 9 normally. 12$ entry.

My personal opinion, rolling starts and 6 car +2 bump, so 8 car mains. I know it sucks if theres only 10 or 12 guys but on a track thats on the tight side, you have to draw the line somewhere. Looks like the noise makers will be out in full force again this weekend.

We did this over the summer at Altoona and it worked out fine. The trick that we found though was designating a specific line on the track after some corner where no one was allowed to pass. If they jumped before the line, then they were docked a lap. Everyone seemed to understand pretty clearly. The other issue most tracks have with nitro is the pit guys can not hear a thing over those engines. Some sort of visual indicator like a flag man or a stop light seem to help out those areas. Just some food for thought for you guys.

I'm in for the 9th but no nitro for me its time to change brands and I don't want to rush it. Who's running 1/8 E-Buggy? O yea rolling starts rule and can we get longer maines in the 1/8 classes?

Damn my truck was hard to drive on TUesday but ran some good times but tonight it sucked. Back to the drawing board as I just don't care for this setup. Nice that these trucks have so many things to change that its easy to keep trying new setups til you find one your comfortable with. Then fine tune it.

pretty good run tonight brian.
i am getting faster, just still having traffic issues.

i really ran some consistent laps tonight, save for the ones that i had some rustler issues during.
just need to figure out some mild push issues then i should be able to keep up if i can stay clean.
