the kid said we need marshalls i'm not starting till we get them .....and then he said he wasn't waiting ....and said go........thats what i herd ...

the 3 min clock wasn't even up yet ,,whats up with that ....we are trying to get some heat in our motors thats all we are doing ....

call 15 or 20 sec's after a 2 min warm-up.....top off ...5 seconds put them down and then go ...it's that easy thats 3 min.... can't start like elect
line them up on an angle not side buy side then everyone is on one side
problem fixed

please don't take any of this wrong just trying to help (the kid does a good job) he keeps things moving ......i was home at 8.30 pm left at 5.30pm

The nitro starts could use a little work... My vote, bring back the GATE!!!!

With that said, I really enjoy running at bumps, I'm glad chris can give us a place to burn some fuel in the winter and keep our radios in our hands. Obviously its not an 8th scale track and Chris could very well tell us not to come back if we keep bitching on a public forum about it. So SHUT UP JAMIE!!!!

Chris

Lets face it the 1/8th buggies are alot of car for any indoor track except maybe Motorama. Almost no indoor track is setup for something that weighs 8lbs, is way over powered, and can run over everything from the marshalls to track pipes. Even on a good race its organized brutality. Actually todays A main was better than most 1/8th I normally use to seeing.

I have absolutely no problem with any class - nitro or electric.
The business side of me doesn't want loose money - with the amount it costs to turn the fans on and suck all the heat out of the building I need a certain amount of nitro cars to race, From my best calculations I am breaking even with 6 nitro cars. That was the statement I made two weeks ago and quite frankly I am suprised that anyone would listen to gossip on here or anywhere else. If it isn't posted on the web site or stated by me in a drivers meeting it's gossip. I built the building to handle nitro. I certainly wouldn't have went to that expense if I didn't want to include them as part of the program. So Rob Sorry you didn't make the trip, hope to see you next time.
I also treat people the same regardless of the class they run.
Maybe you are confusin the issues I have had with certain people, like Ofir, it is just a coincidence that he runs 1/8 nitro. He actually marshalled every race so far today, so even he is making progress. LOL
Thanks to everyone for coming out
Chris
Sorry Chris, i heard through the grapevine(my mistake)that the nitro guys were basically told they weren't welcomed there anymore at the start of the season?? It's nothing personal to me as i can understand someone that doesn't race nitro not wanting to inhale the exhaust. I guess i need to break down and get something electric(can't believe i just said that)! That new losi SCT looks pretty sweet. I swore off electric in '90, lol.

i know an electric touring car track nearby that does that lol.

chris used to have a starting bumper right in front of stand used when the nitro stuff turned up in droves (gas truck, monster, and then later 1/8 stuff). still there chris? its club racing an honest person shouldnt make a big stink over TQing and only gettin to start on the left side of the bumper moto-style.

Heads up, this week is offroad Wed racing, I'll be there with SC 4x4, SC 17.5, SC Spec. Lets try and get a decent turnout for someone who gives us a place to race midweek.

1/8 Nitro outlaws are we doing it again this Sunday.

If I don't figure my car out soon it might get tossed out the window on the way home.

Oh and yes I vote for rolling starts or the starting gate. I also did not think there was a true 3 min warm up. Little bugs that can be sorted out with out too much of a problem.

I also would like to thank Chris for having the facility that he has! Without him we would all be sitting at home bench racing!

wdw......."and can run over everything from the marshalls to track pipes."
thats the driver not the car...

we know you don't like 1/8 scale .. , bumps and jumps isn't to small to run 1/8 scale ya it is a tight track but thats what makes your skills better to me anyway but i still can't drive i'm a scrub but its a hobby for me but i like it .........but i hate to bust on any one here and i'm not going to ...hell your one of the best drivers out there

chris put all those fans in there and did alot of work to this place since i was there a long time ago alot (only place that gets ride of the smoke fast) and he did that for a reason i would think, but it been a bad year fo alot of tracks
