Maybe the problem isn't with nitro at all - maybe it's just Jamie

I have absolutely no problem with any class - nitro or electric.
The business side of me doesn't want loose money - with the amount it costs to turn the fans on and suck all the heat out of the building I need a certain amount of nitro cars to race, From my best calculations I am breaking even with 6 nitro cars. That was the statement I made two weeks ago and quite frankly I am suprised that anyone would listen to gossip on here or anywhere else. If it isn't posted on the web site or stated by me in a drivers meeting it's gossip. I built the building to handle nitro. I certainly wouldn't have went to that expense if I didn't want to include them as part of the program. So Rob Sorry you didn't make the trip, hope to see you next time.
I also treat people the same regardless of the class they run.
Maybe you are confusin the issues I have had with certain people, like Ofir, it is just a coincidence that he runs 1/8 nitro. He actually marshalled every race so far today, so even he is making progress. LOL
Thanks to everyone for coming out
Chris

Well I made it back to run one round and the mains. Wow Bob we get a few weeks off and all of a sudden your 8 tenths faster than me. I certainly need to figure something out because I never been that far behind any of SCTs before. You figured out something that I fell asleep on when they where handing out faster lap times. I'm sure my tire coice in the main didn't help me. Time to go a different way with my setup as I have a few more to try out thats for sure.

Nice job in the main. I thought I caught up to you in the main if you look on the laptimes when you ran that 27 second lap about 7 or 8 laps in with that blue truck but I guess I was mistaken or I see my next lap was a 26 so maybe you got back by and I wasn't aware of it. Not matter as you where fast.

Well from what I saw when pitting for Schreff was no turn marshalls or very limited amount was at least part of the problem. No one lining up in the center right away after the race director was calling for it. Someone else might have more to add but thats what I gathered and observed.

On a side note I don't care for 1/8th nitro much (mainly hard for me to breath) but the main once started was a really good race between the top 4 guys. I actually can say I enjoyed watching that main and I even helped marshall (no one wrecked by me) but it was fun to watch.

Actually did some work on my truck and actually tried a few things that I have been meaning to try. But thanks. Everyone is getting faster and you are forced to go faster or get out of the way.

Well you kicked my a$$. Just makes me want to work harder. What ever you changed it worked. Must be those damn monster truck HPI tires you like to use. I ran pretty good in the main so no excuse on my part.

man all I heard was the kid on the speaker trying to get the last couple guys lined up and then in the middle of that go while my helper was holding my buggy waiting for everyone to line up so he could top me off and put me down.

Jesse... I think there was quite the confusion part on the starting grid. When I missed that lap in Q1 due to the lap delay, they never added my lap back to put in a correct starting order. It wasn't a big deal. When Brian set my car down in the #1 spot, I know they kept calling to move my car back. Either way, my car was on the ground as was Jamie's both idling for close to 20 seconds while they were calling for marshalls and the order. It was kind of a bunch of confusion. It could have been done better and straightened out, but it is what it is.

I'm thinking next time, we try rolling starts for nitro. Let the leader set the pace for 1 lap and the race announcer use the tone to start the race. That would take away needing people to set cars down and make sure cars don't stall.

Either way, I had a good time yet again. Fun blasting around that little track with all the tight racing. That 2nd qualifier was nuts between jamie, king ross, and myself. That was a race in itself.

there was alot of confusion alright . I just couldnt put it together after thats start so I pulled off. That 2nd qualifier I had nothin for you guys there is just to much push running reg tires compared to tires for clay. I will be back again but I am gonna make shure I got tires for the job and maybe I will put my new hara edition together or get something totally different

Rolling starts are what we need. The race director always gets frustrated and just has everyone drop. Great idea. Who's gona keep Ofir from jumping the start and reckinng the fast guys.
