Abrasion RC in Guntersville AL
Abrasion RC is located just south of the water on Hwy 431 in Guntersville AL. Right now offroad and concrete onroad/oval are up and running with dirt oval and indoor carpet on the way. There is a hobby shop on site and AMB scoring with house transponders.
Tracks are open 7 days a week for practice.

With the lights soon to be up, planning a Friday night offroad race for once or twice a month and will have that along with other schedule and pictures on the new website in next week or so.

I would like to make a suggestion. Since you don't have a large 1/8 scale class yet, maybe you should make your track for 1/10 scale only.This will help keep the track smooth and the jumps proportional to their size. I believe this will make your place better in the long run.

We have some interest in 1/8 but because the track is smaller than most in the area it is better on the 1/10. We will not make the track undriveable for 1/10 because that is what most of us run and enjoy. At the same time we welcome 1/8 because a lot of people have them and enjoy a smaller track. At this time don't see a problem running both and just having lots of fun.

1/10 2wd Roar SC Truck
1/10 Open
1/8 Buggy
2 Heats and then Mains
$10 first class and $5 add. class.
House transponders are available.

1st Annual September Showdown
Saturday start time is 10:30am since lights are up and working. Thanks to all the sponsors, winners in each class will have trophy and at least there entry fee back in prizes! Not to mention Free BBQ and a fun race day. Make plans and please sign up or shoot me an email if planning to attend.

Looking to get indoor carpet going in November. The track size will be 18x45.
We will be adding more info soon, but are looking to run Oval, Onroad, and maybe Offroad and are wanting to know what everyone has to run so we can start a class list.
Oval- BRP, 1/18 Open, 1/10 Legends?, 1/10 Touring with NASCAR body 4cell?, 1/24?, ??
Onroad- BRP, 1/18 Open, MiniZ, ??
Offroad- 1/18 Corr, 1/18 Truck/Buggy, 1/24?, 1/32?,??
