Thanks for letting us use the factory, Kurt. Ran a lot of laps today. Hoping for better weather next week.

Castle doesn't make their speedos in China. Either US or Mexico (MMM/MM/MMP made in the US, micro stuff and Sidewinder are made in Mexico). Only their motors are made in China, which is where 100% of the worlds' neodymium supply is, so that makes sense.

Hardcase batteries FTW.

I wish they were but it can be really difficult for Castle to explain why there boards are identical to other esc’s with the exception of the firmware/software that drives them.
Just because Castle drops a premade board from China inside of a plastic case, they may say that it was made in the USA but it was only assembled.. meaning wires soldered on, IC’s flashed with firmware. The mosfets and voltage rectifiers are soldered on by a very complex robot due to the nature of their small size that Castle would not be able to financially keep up with as they would need several to support the device they so call manufacture. I was keeping up on a couple of threads about this.

rules we have never made any rules for this class so if I think your car is to fast i will tell ya to turn it down. sportsman is a class for the newer guys kids ect.,making a bunch of rules would just cost em money!lots of tracks run 17.5 they are to slow I think 13.5 is perfect but not apples to oranges with a castle 3800 system that is very popular sc10 rtr brushless comes with a 3000 kv system still underpowered compared to the castle so what to do ....?? no rules we will have a break out lap time say within 15% of open guys so lets say open a main drivers are turning 20 sec laps sportsman can't turn a lap faster than a 23.00 or their run doesn't count.............oh yeah and if it looks faster than everyone elses trucks I will ask you to turn it down.

Will the track be open on weekdays for practice. I have never been down and the guys at the hobby shop in Dayton told me about it.I think a few of us who run 2wd's will be coming down after the season is done up here.
