came out and ran last Sunday, we left it dry and had a blast! I must be getting old having trouble with the back straight, maybe I need glasses! The jumps could be less abrupt, need to have slightly longer faces and a little less angle, but that is not a complaint! Matt has a great track and its convenient, with a restaurant and convenience store within walking distance. great job thanks for a place to run!

Don't feel bad. I have trouble with it too. The guys that run sub 30 seconds laps really know the track like the back of their hand and are probably much better drivers than me. Just keep coming out every week and we'll get there eventually.

I think you'll be fine with anything but a Strike. If you're a beginner driver then I think the Blitz is probably the best bet. If you're a veteran of competitive racing then you may be able to get more out of an SC10. How you drive seems to be more important than the truck itself. These guys really have their Slashes tuned, they're not so great out of the box but neither is the SC10 which is why I suggested Blitz for beginners, but that is one man's opinion and others may vary.

Yea anything other than a Strike you'll be fine with on the track. I really like the sc10. They really handle good. But they are not as durable as a slash. I've seen a lot of them break on little impacts that slashs made it through the carnage. I've heard a lot positives on the Blitz. Don't know about the durability of it though.

The Blitz is nearly as tough as the Slash. Except the ESE, the chassis is fragile on that until HPI fixes it. The SC10 is pretty tough too if you put a chassis brace on the front such as the one built into the RPM bumper.

They came out with a Blitz that has all the hop ups and is a "race" vehicle. They used to have one at hobbytown not sure if its still there. But I'm sure its more durable than the regular Blitz

No, that's the ESE. It has chassis breakage issues.

Dylan, I got first in a C-Main with a box stock slash, now I have a stock SCT slash with a 17.5, a LCG chassis and a Pro-Trac kit. I want to get it on track before a race day for a few hours, run some packs through it. I'm actually thinking about ditching the slash and getting an SC10 FT or a Blitz ESE and a standard Blitz chassis. I dunno, I've been wrapped up in helis lately... I'm waiting for the SCT to strike my fancy again. I bouce between projects too much. Heli should be done soon though, and then I'll just have the SCT and the 8ight, and the 8ight is just waiting for batts... I may actually have a fully running fleet by summer's end...

You should run the slash first to see if you like it or not. Then decide on a different sct. I want to get a sc10 for indoor winter racing. I like it better than the slash.

Yeah, it rules indoors. It's just so darned hard to set up for outdoors though. You have to fool around less with a Blitz or Slash. IMO the LCG chassis for the Slash is a must though, those things ride super high.

I'm tired today, I'm going to have to guzzle the 5hr energy to stay out there until midnight again, lol

Dylan, I'm also thinking about changing SCT chassis because after spending all that money on my slash (admittedly most was for electronics) I decided I don't like the way my LCG chassis goes together, so it's either new truck or new $150 LCG chassis. So considering what I can get a blitz or SC10 for, I've considered going that way.

I take back what I said earlier... I just spend 120 bucks on my slash... and I didn't even buy the chassis (getting some info on a different chassis first). Guess I'll be gluing tires tonight.

You seem like a nice enough guy, come on out and I'll let you drive mine a few laps during practice time tonight as long as you promise not to crash and burn it , lol.......
