The Factory on Sundays. CRCRC is just too far for ThunderbirdJunkie and his meager finances...The Factory is kinda pushing it, too, but hey...gotta race, and Matt doesn't want to stay outside

We had a pretty OK turnout for 2w SCT this past Sunday. Good to see the usual suspects again

Tim, sorry to hear you're heading back to Arizona, but I can't blame you much (it's officially cold here now). Hopefully we'll see you a time or two next year.

Sounds like it's time for some indoor tire's for the 1/10 buggy... there is also an indoor track in sharonville now, though I don't think they're officially racing anything yet. Just open practices twice a week. Haven't had a chance to see it yet.

Where? Is it carpet? I've been out of the loop for a bit. Should start running again after Christmas. Will go up to the Factory on a Sunday after I get some toe-in hubs.

It's not a real off road track if it's carpet. DIRT is off road.

Yeah, found out yesterday that they don't have a timing system, and the truck is nothing but powdery loam.

hmmmm..... that is about 4 miles from my house.... will need to check it out!!!

the factory is a great track, but it is quite a hike, and i don't feel very welcome there.... maybe a little too serious for my hobby needs. if anyone gets a chance to go, let us know how it is!

i just sent them an email to get any details on racing/setup. will keep ya posted.

Dang.. The way the dirt is looks like an actual "SCT" style track. I want to see more pics of the rest of the track.

Or the more you get your ass kicked by.... Where's the fun in that?

I'll check that place out after Christmas. It's at that rock climbing place, I know exactly where it is. Much closer than Jeffersonville and if everybody there is super serious and super fast then I may as well not even waste my time let alone the $20 in gas. It looks like they're in with Colerain Hobbies too so it's hard to believe that they won't get a counter before long.

The factory is not a bad place to race. If your not competitive you may not like it. But there is no sense in everyone trying to give it a bad name. Everyone that races there has fun and yes sometimes get a little competitive but hey it racing. You should atleast try it before you give up on it. If you don't think the people are friendly then don't talk to them. Dylan and I are there atleast one day of every weekend. And I will be friendly to most of you. Lol. If your afraid of the people get with us and go the same day we go so you will know someone.

try talking to the people before you go bashing them. If you talk to them they will talk to you. They are more serious about racing than other places.

Not trying to bash it, but look at the sharonville track, then look at the factory... You will def have more fun at the factory.

The only bad experience I had last time I went to CRCRC was I had a 1/10 buggy bullet driven into the back of my foot. It was me or a Slash and unfortunately it was me (I went to flip the Slash and was in line with it on the straight). Beyond that, the pits were fairly relaxed and I had a blast racing. Maybe I'm just more serious about racing?
