Yeah, wind has been crummy all day. I think I'll head up and hope for the best.

New track layout! I think everyone will like it a lot better. The pics didn't turn out good since it was dark.

I've heard talk of an Ironman race shhh

What kind of tires does everybody like both at ccrcr and at the factory for 1/10 buggy? My kit came with pl holeshots.. then I bought some blue jc barcodes and red losi bigshots and I have a set ribbed fronts. I think I'm pretty well covered.. anybody know of other tires that work really well at either track?

On a side note! I was finishing up swaping out a servo, and sticking in a SR3300 rx in my D8, and the freaking battery somehow shorted! It started smoking, and by the time I got the battery compartment lid off it melted a good portion of the battery tray!! Luckily it didnt melt any servo wires, etc. Time for a new battery tray, rx battery, on/off switch!! I should be up and running by Friday

Bring it, Matt. The 8ight-E ran great. Look forward to running the buggy some more.

JConcepts barcodes work really good at the factory! I had too much traction with them

I just got a set of goosebumps (thanks matt h) to try friday night. Hopefully, if I have a motor.

Sounds good, Matt. I should be up on Friday assuming the weather is good. If this rain beds in the track like I think it will, that track should be scary fast on Friday.

I also checked into those ballcups you asked me about on Friday from JConcepts. From what I can tell it's mostly for the BJ4 (or any other 1/10 scale vehicle where the ball studs point forward or backward on the rear hub, rather than upward) and the idea is that on some of those, under full droop, the wheel will rub and eventually damage the ball cup, those dip down to allow more droop before the wheel hits the ball cup. I'm guessing they're mostly for the BJ4, but might not be bad on B4s or B44s that run a lot of droop.
