I reread his post and see what you're saying now (had I read it that way, I probably would have DIBSed it too). I think it'd be a quiet night at the track if there were no loaner PTs. I'll just be happy when I finally buy my own (hoping he gets them today) and don't have to worry about loaners anymore.

I'm checking with Carl at the dirtbowl and Filo at Tri-State and if Matt's will work with their systems too then I'll buy one as well.

It's a standard AMB system, my guess is it would work at 99.99% of the tracks you would visit and would also be pretty much guaranteed as the timing system if you ever attended a ROAR race.

Default SC10 Setup

Big Daddy,
SC10 is on its way what tires you you guys liking. I don't remember what you had on you Rent a Ride when I drove it last. Soccer season is one more week so should be coming out of retirement in about two weeks depending on skip and how far backed up he is on painting bodies. Bach is converting his XXXT into a home make SC10 so we will see what kind of cheater truck he builds with his Graphite skills and dremel.

I drove a guys sc10 with subcultures on the rear with the stock sc10 tires on the front. It felt really good actually. Had plenty of steering. But if I would need more I would put double dees on it, like Brett has mentioned.

The double dees are okay on mine but I think I like the calibers better. It really depends on track conditions though. It seemed really loose on Friday and I did best in the main with Calibers all around. I had tried stock front, double dees rear and didn't hook up well, then I ran Calibers rear and stock front with a bit more success. Finally, Calibers all around worked best.

I think tires are something to play with at Matt's track for SCT, honestly. I tried some city blocks last week; I had Super Softs in the rear and Softs up front. I liked it better that my old set up which was subcultures in the rear and SC10 stocks up front. I think I want to play around a bit more with the city blocks in the rear and change up the front a bit. I will say the city blocks were less spinny that my old setup. Every once in a while I was chasing the back end of my truck around track with the old set but I had no issues with the new tires, though the moisture really came up on Friday. I'll have to try them a bit more to get a good feel for it.
