Just what I was looking for. My good friend Tim from Fischels Hobby in DuBois came and told me last night that you were planning on opening.

I'm from DuBois and can't wait. Dubois needs a track bad, so many people have RC but no where to go local.

I just bought a slash 2x4 and was going to run at Altoona but it's just too far away to make it a habit of going every week. Could you provide a link or a price for a transponder. I'm new to the hobby but am really excited about this. I have tons of friends who I know will join in on it too.

Hi Jim and Hi Dubois racers.

My name is Rob and I own the Altoona track. I look forward to working with you guys this year. I will be up there on the 23rd to help Jim learn the software and how to set up the loop and things. Make sure you stop by and introduce yourself. Jim and I have also discussed adding the Dubois track to our Point Series we run with a few other tracks.

See you guys on the 23rd.

AMB Personals are $104. They can be bought from places like A Main or Stormers Hobby.

You could also look into a MRT PTX transponder. They come from the UK but are half the price of an AMB. Do a search here on RCTech for a thread about MRT. It will tell you about them and direct you to a website to purchase one.

Decided while it wasn't raining to jump on the bike and took it for a ride by the future home of this track since I live about 4 miles away. Looks pretty good so far, I was going to stop and look but didnt want to look like I was snooping. LOL

What caught my eye was the yellow tubes. HAHHA Bingo that must be where it will be!

Default RACE DAY

The Official opening of the track will be June 5th. Gates open at 8am and racing starts at noon. We are having a test and tune day May 23 for any one interested. This is a free day to play. We need to test the system and need drivers so please feel free to come out and check the track out first hand.

Hopefully my transponder shows up by the 23rd, but I doubt it. I may just stop out anyways to see how things work.
