Default Hurlock MD Track

We are starting our Summer Series racing this Sunday starting at one. We will also have a dirt oval up and running by then, with 14' wide lanes 55'wide and 135' long. The off-road track is 75' X 85' and has a Robotronic lap counting system, huge drivers stand, electric, water and air compressor.
Flyers are up at the HobbyTown in Easton and HobbyStop in Seaford.

Default Todays Race

We had a few new guys at the track today, I worked on the Robotronics lap counting system but couldn't get it to pick up the transponders. UGH The boys had a blast on the dirt oval with there 1/5 scale buggys and trucks.

Tina's Trains and Hobbies:
Went there today 6/23/2012. Not enough folks to race, but had a great time doing practice races while Eric (Co-owner) worked the kinks out of their brand new AMB racing/lap timing system. Both hardware and software updated and working perfectly by the time we left. We did a "Run what you brung" race featuring Slash 4x4, Associated T4 buggy, and two of the new Short Course buggies from Losi....

The track is not large, but it has an oval overlayed onto the offroad track. We did a couple of races on the oval where the challenge is from the speed. We also did a couple of races where we used the interior track bumps and jumps where the challenge is provided by the the full "u" turns and small jumps.

Tina and Eric are very nice and try to find a class for everyone 10th scale and smaller.
Look for the Tina's Trains and Hobby discussion in the Track Locator forum on this site.

I just started on RC cars again. I have been doing helicopters and finishing school for the last several years. Where are all the tracks? Does anyone know of any good track in Maryland?
Thanks,
Tone

Thanks,
Tone

I'm going to check out Tina's Trains and Hobby in Hughesville. Anyone have any idea how late in the season they practice or race on weekends?

I'm just getting back into the hobby and would love to see the shop and watch some races this weekend.

This is the first I've heard of the 1/8th track in Anne Arundel County. You say it's near Rt. 100 and Coca Cola Road. Timbuktu restaurant is at that exit (One of my favorite places for Maryland Crab cakes). I work not too far from there. Gotta find that track. Do you have an address or contact information for the owners?
