Default Looking for Slash XL5 ESC

Anybody have an old XL5 ESC (stock Slash) for sale ?

Having trouble with mine (broken wire right at the base) and I am not quite ready to pull the trigger on brushless. It's in my A-Main cart though.

Sorry Mike...I don't. However, I do have some soldering skills and would be willing to try to make yours work.

Thanks anyway Anthony, but I got a good deal on a new XL-5 and motor on eBay.
Should be back in business next week.

Might send the old one back to Traxxas for repair, I think that might be the only way to keep it waterproof.... I like the SimpleGreen and blast with a hose method of cleaning too much and dont want to loose that feature.

They charge $25.00(includes shipping) for any repair to ESC's.

Are you guys using a timing system there. I have couple of MRT transponders that work with AMB systems that I am using. Was thinking of selling them before I move.

We usually run the KO ARC system which uses an AM crystal and plugs into the receiver. We do have an AMB system but the transponders need batteries, and rather difficult to change and expensive to have done.

Thanks for the info. How is the Short Course scene out there. Is there a outdoor SC track. Or just an indoor one with carpet.

We mostly run SC trucks at the indoor carpet track on Tuesday nights and outdoor at my house track about every three months. 1/8 scale is at The Hill first Sunday of every month.
