Nice...........good job Iggy, let me know if you need some $$ chipped in to pay for it.

a couple more DNF's from Jon and I'm sure we will be able to hire him cheap to drive the mower more his speed.

question for you guys:

ive been working on my on-road cars and getting them set up with brushless... they are working BUT, i have to trim the transmitter full brake and even thats not helping the cause.

so, my problem is, i cant get the darn things to sit neutral, even if i trim it all the way back.

any suggestions???

Have you calibrated the esc's to the radios? Most higher end esc's have a calibration/setup sequence in the instructions.

i dont know... been through the instructions multiple times and hadnt seen anything. there is one thing in there showing how to adjust the transmitter but that isnt even helping. maybe ill bring them out tomorrow and see if someone can see something that im over looking.

Bring the cars, transmitter, and instructions. I am sure between the four or five of us experts I'm sure we can figure it out for you.

Anthony, are we going to run the timing system at Jon's? If so, do you want to meet about at his house about 2:30 to set it up?

BBSC Track lookin' pretty sweet. Thanks Ken for coming out and helping. I'm hoping sports day will be done by three and I should be home by four. Shed will be open as well as the side door to the garage. I have an extra Slash and if Ken brings back the part I bummed from him, I'll have two extra Slashes.

The cords and lights are out, Anthony if you set up in the same spot you won't need your tents as it's in the shade already. It's hitting dusk about 630 so then we'll kick the lights on.

Still haven't heard from Greg, Billy or Barry....

After talking with Jon about it yesterday, I plan on getting to BBSC Track at about 3ish. Yes I was planning on bringing the timing system. So if you would like to show up a little early, Ken, that would be great.

I might not be able to make it tonight guys. Kid is sick (we think) and Amanda is worried. I'm going to try though. But obviously family comes first.

Iggy thanks on the quick carb tuning lesson yesterday. I took the carb apart cleaned it set it like you told me and the hyper .21 is running. The .21 looks to be faster than the .26 I was trying to race last Sunday

Good racing tonight guys! Congrats to Josh (1st) and Luke (2nd). Thanks Jon for getting the track ready and hosting the event.

Hopefully we can do this again real soon.

Ken...I'll be at Courtney for a bit in the morning. So if you can bring the ESC for the Dumpster Slash, I'd appreciate it.

yes that was a good time tonight... thanks for the invite.

but it looks like i might have to see about some actual 1/10 stuff including the Jammin. ive been setting up by watching what the guys that race on 1/8 tracks. going to see about changing some stuff over to low to mid teens for at least the Ultima. but with the current budget i think it may be a while.

and for my color blindness... looked at the set-up lights again and noticed that the colors are in the same order on both the esc and the instructions. thanks again for the help with that

and yes josh im gunna mess with ya about the fuel thing for a while... its all in good fun, wasnt like money was on the line or nothing.

again, great time guys, until next time

Whoa, good times...

Glad you made it out Jeff, something around a 13.5T seems to be the number for a small track, that or try a 1 cell lipo with that one, that would be interesting..

The lap times were getting down there, think we can pull of 21 laps in five minutes on Veteran's Day?

8 minute A Main= 2250mah on a 4000mah Lipo...5 minute qual.=1550 on a 4000 mah lipo

Dates:
24 October Flea Market
7 November Race @ The Hill
11 November Veterans Day Slash Bash & BBQ @BBSCT
