Actually a closer translation would be: run the POS fusion 2000 until it melts and then get something better to finish up learning how to drive.

Looks like the Kadena BX just gave us a new dirt drifting track.

Yeah, we could all get rally cars and some of those "dirt drift tires"

Wow, I thought we had forgotten about that post. As dry as it has been, I have been getting better at drifting on the 1/10th track. You can drift a 1/10th buggy all the way around that long curve if you can avoid all the rocks.

Default Greetings!

I just finished my truck and brought it out to the track yesterday!

The 1/10th track does seem a bit loose when it's dry, but I'm also quite new to RC track racing.

Anyhow, should the excess dirt/sand be swept out of the track before use?

I was just thinking that may have helped my control a little...

Just in case you're wondering, I built up a RC10T4FT with a Novak GTB/SS 8.5.

Also, the track seemed more natural going clockwise vs counter-clockwise...am I going the right way?!

Again, thanks to all those that put this together - this is great to have an off-road track on island!

Glad you like the tracks!

Both tracks were designed to go CC, but I've never gone clockwise on the 1/10 you might be onto something....

As far as sweeping, it may help at the time but in time it may end up just removing the only dirt we have left

You might try some different tires, seems Holeshot M3 and Panther Barcodes work well....

That 8.5 is a lot of power!

Yup, tires are a maker or breaker on this track. The M3 Holeshots are really good. On the stadium trucks we are running Pro-line Badlands. They seem to do really well out there too. They are crawler tires but really stick it to the track.

If by "flow", you mean easier, then yes the track is easier running clockwise. The track actually flows better CC once you get the rhythm down on the stair step and the triple on the main straight. I'm with Jon on the not sweeping, just save it for race days. The looseness is just another obstacle to overcome on the track.
Alright, another stadium truck at the track. Luke got his RT5 this week also.
