Welocme to the forum, is this Chris? Please put your first name in sig. block so we can put a face to a name at the track. Here is a link that shows the whole RC complex, in several pictures you will see the pile of rocks in the back section. When you go to the link look for post #589.

ZebraFace,

Welcome to the group, hope to see you out there...

There are a number of folks that have crawlers, just no one has really dedicated the time, etc to get that site up and running.

Ken,

May have found a fix for the front end for now, I will let you know how it works out, but I appreciate the offer...

As for the track today, I decided to hold off today due to the weather, and needed maintenance, etc.
but went by around 1, there was a guy and his kid and the guy from Kinser there..

Jon,

I found the DIY... NNNIIIcceeeee... (in my best Homer Simpson voice)

I plan on a few more trips there in the near future.....

Robert

Well, at least I got an answer from a guy in Australia. I see you guys only keep the discussions amongst yourselves. Have fun. I'm done with this thread.

WOW?!? You didn't stop to think a minute that maybe no one in this small community(less than 20 regulars) has the answer to your question? I'm the only one I know that uses KO locally and I didn't see the question until now.

I haven't been to the track yet but I am excited to see it. I hope to bring new people to the hobby over at the crawler section. I only do crawlers. So hopefully there will be some people there to challenge me. It's also great to get together with other friends of the hobby.
There are more crawlers than you think. We are ninja crawlers
There is:
Me: AX10 X 2
Igy:all kinds of crazy stuff, one crazy berg & one crazy axial
Igys son: whatever dad is willing to allow him to smash
Scott: Tamiya CR-01, AX10 hybrid rock racer
Marine Corps guy: AX10 (don't know his name)
Jon: Super Class thingamabob, I think he should name it that.

Like everything else here, there is 1 more for every one we know about. Ran into another guy last week that is running an AX10 and an SCX10. He just got on island so is not integrated into the scene yet.

The "Marine Corps Guy" above set up a course at the beach on Courtney but I haven't been yet. I haven't seen him but a couple times.

There are some other great places to run on Oki. The 2 best are Kurashiki Dam out in Chibana and a playground out the back gate of Torii Station. I have been fiending for a Rock Party. We may have to get everyone together.

Not alot of peeps there. I went about 2 pm and Scott was there. Beat the Slash to death and the crawler. Slash was running nice today. Another fellow showed up with a 4x4 Slash and his son. Other than that, it was pretty dead. Couldn't see that the track would be worth running before noon. It was pretty damp when I was there but the slash was sticking nicely.

Yeah, let me know if it worked out for ya Robert...

I managed to finally get my new rear ends assembled for the D8 and Vorza today. Swapping out to the longer rear shocks will be like an Audi Pit stop at LeMans - fully modular, and minimal amount of screws.

Oh, and I beat Kenji's record today with the Mini-Zs. 13.16 to his 13.20.

Thanks for the reply on my message. I can't wait to meet the other crawlers out here in Oki. I didn't know there were so many others. I just installed a dig on my car lastnight and it works great. I will post something up when I go out there so maybe some of you guys can meet me out there.

Which dig did you go with? Vanquish? Were you able to use a micro servo?
