Hey everyone,
I finally got around to the forums. I was the one out there last weekend with the slayer and revo. I really do plan to make that place my weekend hangout spot now that I have my cars. Just so everyone know the revo will be staying at home until I get the parts to make it a slayer with reverse. The revo was just to hard to move around the track (when it was on the track). and what day is everyone gonna be out there?

Name is Mike btw

Mike, welcome to the forum and Okinawa. Not sure about Saturday but there will be a good group out on Sunday.

I noticed your Revo is pretty much stock, bring it with you on Sunday and I can give you some good tips on minor mods that will help it get around the track better. I have been racing Revo's off and on for 5 years. Let me know if you need a part or two as I have a box of spare parts.

Sunday we will be testing the timing system again on the 1/8 track. If you intend to run please join us in the testing and pardon us for taking up track time for those just out to drive.

We will try to run several time trials and would appreciate a clear track.

Thanks!

Ya know, I'm not really sure. I could've sworn that Dee said it was going to rain all weekend (and she's usually right), so I sorta wrote this weekend off.

We'll see though. Still waiting on some parts to get here for the 8th scalers, and my Mini-Z (I'm determined to beat the track record dangit).

I don't have any tires glued up for the DB01 at the moment. The Slash might be doable, but I need to install my new ESC (and convert to DEANS) so I could go Lipo.

So at the moment I don't really have anything ready to go, which is odd considering how much time I put into wrenching on these darn things!

Jon, you guys ok after the earthquake? Any big waves on that side of the island.

I wanted to use the cobalt green that I have used in the past.........but Paulie used it with the Tarmac cars .........no way I could use it after that, the metallic green is a little darker than I wanted but it turned out ok.

I do have tires for the DB01, but they are not glued up yet. My old oens were bald and comign off the rim, so I tossed them.

As for the Cobalt Green Ken, I'm retiring that color. Tarmac Faction will get a new livery for 2010...

Was there at 0900, and it was a little damp. 2 very small wet spots on the 1/10 track in the "straight". I will be going back around 1400, and it should be driveable. The port-a-john got blown off the palette it was on, but did not tip over. I think some stategically placed engineer stakes will fix the problem.
