So I will be PCS'ing to Okinawa pretty soon, I currently own a Slash 4x4 and plan on getting a Rc8.2e as a buggy. How is the RC community in Okinawa? I currently live in Germany and there are no tracks near by and I am usually the only one at the local park bashing.
I am new to RC's and so far I am enjoying the hobby. Hope to see you guys at the track once I arrive.

You will be able to run the slash 4x4 on the Awase track. The scene was dead for a little while so it is just starting back up again with the new drift and offroad tracks in Awase. Don't be afraid to come out, I usually have a loaner or 2 on hand, and I go to the track atleast once a weekend. We also have a group of us that crawls on Tuesday nights.

Well my speed passion turned up still no body's yet but I should have a working drift chassis by the end of the night.

If it rains I guess it wont be the end of the world if it doesnt arrive this week but I want something to tinker with regardless (especially if I'm stuck inside).
As for the 8.2, I wouldnt bother right now. There doesnt seem to be a place to run 1/8. I have an 8.2 (nitro) that is sitting collecting dust. Thinking about selling/trading it for something else I can run out here.
