Nah, we will get to it eventually. 3 typhoons in 6 weeks and all landing on weekends really sucks.

I went out......just way late.

Boat needs work. The rudder horn is shot. The rigging needs tweaking and so does the radio setup. I have to get a radio tray in the thing. I took on a bunch of water and my receiver got wet today. I have to take it apart and clean it up. The contacts are all crusty white now.

Kids soccer and team duties kept me from getting there in the morning like I planned. Sorry guys.

No worries, we need to come up with an aluminum or brass rudder horn solution with a set screw...

Yep, it sucks. I give them about a year unless they make some changes.

I thought exactly the same thing. They won't last long. That really sucks. I really enjoyed hanging out there in Naval Kadena, and they had a crap load more stuff. Their axial selection is completely non-existent now. I probably will not be going back anymore unless I hear that it has improved.

Jason, you need to come out to Toguchi Tuesday night around 1730 even if you don't bring the crawler.

I'll be heading out to Oki late December and wanted to start investigating the scene. I've been digging through this thread but I'm not sure exactly what exists now. Looks like there is/was an offroad track before the storms and it appears there is interest in getting it cleaned up and going again but I was curious what classes were being run up there previously?

I run 1/10 2wd buggy, 4wd buggy, and stadium truck and also have 1/8 buggy and truggy (both nitros). I'd love to bring them out with me if there is a place to race them. Are there any issues running DSM radios out there?

Hey guys im new to oki and i've been having some trouble finding anywhere that sells 20% nitro fuel. I've tried RC Paradise and Xhobby off 58 and got nothing. Also i heard they don't have to many American brands over here so what is a good Japanese brand to go with?

Madweazl your id sounds familiar. Are you on Socal-rc. I use to live in San Diego and race with Socal-rc and at Barona. We used to have a indoor track where we would run 2wd and 4wd buggy but it is now gone. But we do have a track here where we run our 1/8 buggy and truggy. Nitro is fine. There is a video of the the track somewhere in this thread.
