The timing system has arrived!! I would like to run some tests with it this weekend. Jon, are you up for meeting us at the track on Saturday? I can't do Sunday (kids have something at school).

Did you say that was AMB or KO?
Pretty sure you said KO. Assuming our on-road transponders work.
Those frikking AmB transponders are high dolla bills yo

The new system is the Ko Propo ARC Type II and uses the TD-1 or TD-2 that we use at Siro. The system came with about 30 transponders and crystals. The catch is that they did not come with the leads. So we will have to work with what we have until I purchase or make enough to go around.

Do NOT go out and by a transponder yet. Let's make sure the system works and is usable first.

Jon....the time sounds good. Don't forget the laptop!

Ken...I have found a guy who soldered servo leads to the amb transponders and claims to have been using them like that for the past 7 years. Let's give it a try with the one you have. Bring it with you on Saturday so I can do the soldering and testing. We may have two complete systems to use if everything works out.
