Default new to rc

I recently aquired a pretty much brand new old duratrax axis buggy. I have ran maybe two or three tanks of fuel through just in the yard and im already hooked. I would love to get it out on the hill was just wondering if there was a day some of you more experienced guys might be out there to give a begginer some tips.

The race on Sunday, sign up at 8am try to start at 9am. We normally run 1/8 buggies and truggies, however, 3 cars show up for a class and I am sure Anthony can set up another.........bring your cars or trucks and we can get everyone on the track. Monster trucks, Short Course or whatever.............

Just left the track. Met a guy named Rusty. There was puddles at certain spots. Some as deep as 6 inches. So sweep the water. Should be good for tomorrow. Probably needs to be smoothened out a little.

Glad to see everything is still going. Post up some more pics of the track if yall have changed it at all. There is quite a few RCs here in Afghanistan. No track though. Excited about getting back into the race

Finally made it up to the track today, only to find out that I broke the whole front end of my revo. Spend most of the day taking it apart, then just gave up. lol. Maybe next weekend. I will be busy this week putting it back together. Thanks Mr420 for charging my battery for me.
