Maybe it would be benefical to both tracks to form some kind of alliance to not schedule against each other and get people from the Mini-Z track at The Montclair Plaza to run something a lil bigger (i.e Mini 2 or 4wd, Atomic,ABC,1/12 etc.)

No need to form an alliance as the track in Montclair Mall closed down about two months ago. I took my son as a reward for his grades and the shop was empty. They now run the racing at a Mini track in Rialto.

When you getting an On-road to join us?

Being that this is a carpet track vs asphalt, Mini-Zs can be run on it as there are carpet specific rubber tires and even foams for Mini-Zs. There's going to be a SoCal Mini-Z point series in different venues in 2010, hope TQ can be one of those venues for a race or 2. Maybe scheduling arrangement such as the F1 guys have with other tracks can work for mini-zs here. We'll see if organizers and track owners can put it together so time will tell.

JustMe2 in the meantime if you still want to reward your son the NetZone mini-Z track at Rialto is lager than Montclair's and racer turnout is much higher and consistent as well and they still do have rentals too.

Looking forward to your Grand Opening. I've been meaning to put some laps on my Xray M-18 on carpet. I hear it's a ton of fun and a very popular class in east coast on carpet tracks!

I got that covered. I bought him a 1/12th to run here. He just has to keep the grades to keep racing. Won't be hard for him though, he takes after his Mom.
1/18th should be cool here. I've seen "You Tube" races of 1/18th rally and onroad that looks like a blast!

I have a 1/10 TC but This place is just a bit too small for TC I think. The carpet is trying to call me but I like West Coast too much when it comes to TC. This place will be awsome for direct drive/pan cars though
