Ok guys.. Club racing is back in San Diego.
I am happy to announce that after many long days that THE 1/8 WONDER at Barona Speedway is almost ready. We will be having a shake down day this weekend to test out the facility.
I will post up some pics up of the place after this weekend.

Thanks DonV.. We'll be up there tomorrow with a dozen or so people to run the track, and prep, off n on throught the day. You re welcome to come out n check out the new stuff.

Congrats on the new track. Do you have any pics from todays racing? Also what is your schedule for racing and practice?

The times and dates for actual racing will be posted soon.
We are having a few practice sessions/mock race days to shake out any bugs in the new upgrades to the facility.. And during these weeks, we are talking and discussing the details with as many people as we can.

The goal is to have Electric Night be Friday.. This will include 1/10 scale, short course, and 6 min 1/8 electric.

Saturdays can be used for nitro/gas/15 min Electric... as well as Sundays.
Saturdays we must alternate weekends during Nascar season. Sun can go every weekend all year long.

On Saturday the 14th we will be having an SDRCRC rock crawling comp in the rocks behind the track, as well as running on the track.

On Sun the 15th we will be having a 'Mock Race Day' for the public and giving away a HPI 5T. This will NOT be a regular race day program.. This will be a practice/racing day intended for fun and to work out any bugs that we might encounter during a normal race day.

Sundays til the first of the year(excluding holiday weekends) we will not run on the holiday weekends at all..
Trying to hold some practice sessions on Saturdays when we get a chance..
Please tune in to Socal-rc.com for the official dates and times that the track will be available.. Look under the downtowns 1/8 wonder section in the 'local tracks' area.
