The grand Opening is January 31.. Weve had our 'soft opening' now for almost 3months.. I am secure in how everything is holding up .. The new power and lights are working well, the pit area is working good.. and the track is holding up great.

A new thread has been started in the Racing section(Same Title)... Hopefully we will all start migrating towards that thread in the Correct section soon. And can close this one down.. I think everyone that needs to know where the place is already knows.. no need to be in the locator section anymore.

the track looks great but, IMO, it looks a bit tight and technical for 1/5 scale. But its nice to have some where for people to run them. When I lived in SD and had my 5B there was no place like that to run. I used to bash at the sand dunes, to the left, at the entrance to Silver Strand, just past park ranger shack.

Where exactly is the track? I have family and friends that live down there and it would be nice to get away and run my 4x4 slash there when ever possible.

It is not that small/tight. Maybe not perfect, but the track size accomodates all scales of r/c. Maybe a tad small for 1/5, pretty good for 1/8th, and maybe a bit too big for 1/10th scale. If there is more 1/5th scalers that would show up on a regular basis, then maybe they would accomadate those more with a track layout more suitable. At this time though, its about just right for the mix of scales.
Its really hard to have a huge track that may be ideal for 1/5th scales and would be a ton of work. Check it out if you get the chance. Good times for sure at this track and the racers and owners are great people.

Teeforb great Video
Don V thanks for the great words.
The track is 100% Roar legal for 1/5 th scale min. 15' to 18' lanes through out. track is very freindly to all.
The track is 5 miles past the casino on Wild Cat Canyon road.
