DIRT RUNNERS ..2WD MOD CORR CLASS
attn: tri-state area guys dirt runners is trying to get a 2wd mod short course class of the ground. so all you local guys that have a modded 2wd corr truck "sc10.. slash..etc" please help support this class we already have 3 trucks for the class we need a total of 5. all we need is 2 more for the class no rules are written for the class yet. please help support this growing class of corr truck racing.
dirt runners is hosting their annual dirt runners challenge like they do ever year. the track info and pre-registration could all be found in the link.. we are trying to start this year the "2wd mod corr class" all it takes is 5 people and the class will get off the ground. we already have 3 people for the class all we need is 2 more. so if your local and wanna participate in this class please come by join the fun..the track is always open for practice

Short Course Modified Off Road
This class is intended for racers looking to compete in a modified class, with realistic looking short course trucks.
Base Vehicle: Any 1/10th scale, 2WD, electric Short Course truck such as but not limited to the Traxxas Slash, Associated SC10, HPI Blitz, and LOSI Strike.
Chassis/Components: Any chassis allowed. Any aftermarket bumper allowed so long as they remain realistic looking.
Body Clips: Any standard r/c body clip may be used (locking or regular).
Motor: Open
Batteries: ROAR approved 6 or 7 cell sub c industry approved standard rechargeable battery or a ROAR approved 7.4V LiPo Battery only.
Battery/Motor Connectors: Any allowed, not restricted to stock connectors.
Speed Control: Open
Servo: Open
Radio/Receiver: Any ROAR allowed Radio/Receiver Combination is permitted, e.g. you may switch the receiver and transmitter from the units supplied with the vehicle.
Suspension: Aftermarket arms are allowed. Any shock, oil, spring or piston may be used. You may: use shock limiters, shorten the springs, drill/fill the shock pistons.
Steering: Open
Transmission: Must use the stock transmission cases. After market gears are allowed as long as they fit inside the stock transmission cases. You may use Silicone diff oil.
Wheels/Tires: Any tire/wheel that is specifically made for Short Course racing is allowed. The tires/rims must fit within the confines of the body, with the front tires pointing straight. No 1/8th scale tires.
Bodies: Any realistic looking SC body is allowed.
Ball Bearings: Open
Air Dams: Not allowed.
Spoiler: Not allowed.
Transponder: Personnel Transponders are permitted and can be mounted anywhere on the vehicle that the owner sees fit. Club transponders are also available for use (mounted with a ¼” hole through the body – see general rules for transponder information).
LiPo Cut-Off/Warning: Open
Weight Distribution: Components such as the ESC, Rx, and battery may be relocated for optimal weight balancing.
Gyros: No gyros allowed.
