Yeah, thats the one out in farmingdale. They have a website at www.hobby.com that says they have an offroad and an onroad track. I'm going to take a ride out there later this week to see what it's like.

Here are some more places in the NYC area to check out:

Willis Hobbies (Mineola, NY): Small indoor carpet track for winter racing (Sedans, 1/12, and Micros) and racing every few weeks in Spring/Summer at Nassau Community College (right by the Coliseum) on a big Concrete track (Electric and Nitro sedans, and 4WD Impact class as well) No AC at the outdoor site.

Bruckner Hobbies (Bronx, NY): Indoor racing every Sunday on Ozite in a school gym. Big flowing layouts typically. Doors open at 9 AM, racing starts at Noon.
http://www.brucknerhobbies.com

South Shore Hobbies and Raceway (Patchogue, NY): Indoor racing on Ozite Friday nights and Sundays. Track is on the small side, but smooth and grippy. Well stocked hobby shop on site. THe owner tells me they're moving to a new location in the next month or two, which will allow for a much bigger indoor track with more pit space, a bigger shop, and an outdoor asphalt track and dirt track.

American Raceway (Englishtown, NJ): One of my favorite places to race in the area, Saturday night TC racing under the lights is ALWAYS a blast.
http://www.americanraceway.com

R/C Madness (Enfield, CT): Two and a half hours or so from NY, but worth the trip. Indoor carpet and a huge outdoor asphalt track, plus an outdoor dirt track too. Some of Region 1's fastest drivers are there regularly.

I live in jamaica, queens. I meant to say Nassau Community College for the willis location, got kinda tongue tied. I never raced at the bruckner location although i there at the bruckner shop with mike, chester p, and family all the time. I was invited to come and see how it is so i think i might check it out this sunday. The Patchogue location is something new to me but i will look into that. I have been to englishtown and the enfield spots before. Thanks for the info.

Looks like we're almost neighbors, I live right by 210 and Union, a few blocks from the Clearview. Bruckner is having a trophy race this coming Sunday (March 9th), there ought to be a good crowd.

I'm going on the road this weekend to race at The Track in Gaithersburg Maryland, but we might get back in time to race Bruckners on Sunday... The Maryland race is Saturday.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner... The race was at "The Track" in Gaithersburg MD, http://www.rctrack.com for more info. I think it was their last indoor race (other than weeknight racing) of the season.

Bruckner has stopped indoor racing at the junior High school in the Bronx until next autumn. For now, most of us are racing at South Shore Hobbies in Patchogue, Long Island. More info at http://www.southshorehobby.com

South Shore runs stock sedan, 1/12 and micros on Friday nights starting at 7PM, and mod sedan and 1/12 on Sundays starting at 11AM.
