Would a charging bag come highly recommended for me to use with this lipo battery? I bought the battery and balancer last Saturday, I just haven't dared to charge it up yet because I forgot a bag.

You can charge it with out a bag, just keep watching it, Charge it out side , you can put it in a metal can or pan Just keep an eye on it. Only time I use the lipo bag is in the basement I store all my lipo's in the bag and a metal ammo can when not in use.

Good Idea on the ammo-can. I'll have to see what I can come up with. I know I've got a small metal box about half the size of an ammo can. It's not heavy, but it is all steel. Should definitely help in the event of something catastrophic.

Doug is talking about ice racing still. That is, if we dare put all of ourselves on one piece of ice on a lake

At this point it is still an option and sounds like alot of fun. We are waiting for a real good freeze so we are able to get out there. I need to do something because I'm going crazy!!!!!

I've been preparing my truck for next year at the track rather than the ice. Finally got myself a lipo and some swaybars and the aluminum shock caps with the springs from the slayden setup. Havin' a tough time deciding what to do about ice tires. I'd run somescrews into the stock tires, but I don't want them coming out at high-speed, and I hate to spend the money on a set of new tires/rims just to ruin them with studding. Choices choices

I have not had a chance to do anything with my truck lately. The plan is to get it ready for this coming season. I already have the new castle sidewinder sct kit for it and I can't wait to see the improvements it will make. other than that I will be getting some new bodies to paint and going through the truck with a fine toothed comb to make sure its ready.
