Hey and I took 2nd in Spec A Main after getting bumped up from B and I never expected to do either of those.
Awesome. Great job on moving up from the B to finish 2nd in the A. Very hard to do in Spec with all the traffic and tough layout. Hope to see you guys again soon.

Hey guys I will be going to your trophy race in a couple of weeks and I want to know if there will be a mod SCT class. If not I have to get some stock Kyosho electronics since I donated mine. Not a big deal I just want to know.

You will have more guys in spec class. They might have a mod class but I cant say for sure. I think you might be better off just running stock being that it will be a bigger class. Are you running buggy too?

We have alot better chance to have Mod SCTs at the big race. I know at least 3 or 4 guys that are running brushless now and different tires that fall into are mod class. I know Pat and Bryan have mod trucks now and I bet they would love to run them at the upcoming Elite race. If they see this I'm sure they will post and will post that they want to run them.

Jason, you have a pm. Thanks for letting me wheel your ride.

The layout was fun and you had to time that back section but it worked for me. Mod truck might be my boy or I depends if I feel confident on the new buggy, but we both will be running stock sc too. Are you seperating pro sc and spec sc for the elite race?

Brian,
Man your truck seemed faster for some reason. Are you keeping a secret? Had alot of fun in that race and Josh had a decent run on us too.

Pat your always welcome to check out anything I have and try it out as well. I think the Strike was fast because it is a little loose which helps in a few of those turns. Motor wise it is still the same one that came new in the kit. I clean it out once a week. Same method I did to yours a week or two back. Reoil the bushings and put in the truck. Sometimes I use comm drops and sometimes I don't. Depends how lazy I am.

I had to push really hard to catch you guys so I cut corners alot closer than I normally would of so that probably helped with my laptimes some. In general I only drive as hard as I need to. Normally like many when I push hard mistakes happen but I had a limited amount of them in the last 10 laps so it really helpmed me. Normally that is not my comfort zone but this time it worked out. Need a little luck sometimes thats for sure.

WYD,

I don't think Pat was accussing you of cheating...I heard you had "The Sword of Voltage" powering your ride...Maybe you've been "Voltage Struck" in the past...hmmmm

I see that Medina put in a nice run in SC. Looks as if the BLITZ is beginning to be the truck of choice. I'm glad you guys had a great turnout. I want to make it back up before the Elite race but don't know if it will be possible.

To the guys questioning the quality of Bumps and Jumps...

Is Bumps a true offroad, all dirt or clay track..No, but, what Bumps brings to the table is much more. Great competitve racing, some of the friendliest racers I've met along the years, track design and jump stlyes that could not be created with dirt, and an owner that goes out of his way to please his customers. I've been in the hobbyshop numerous times when guys come in bitching about next to nothing and Chris does what is necessary to keep them happy. Me, I wouldn't do it but I'm not in his position. I've never had a bad experience or a bad time at Bumps. I'm just thankful that Bumps is here for me to race at when there is 2 feet of snow on the ground. Lots of people don't consider that point when they complain about their "local" track. I'd rather hate a layout or hate some plywood jumps than to hate not having a place to race!!!

Bryan

Bryan I did have some SMC power for the 2nd round and the mains. It ran well. Have no complaints with the way it ran. Funny I did run a SLash tonight and even though my Losi worked great that damn Slash just felt better. Not sure if I could run faster laps but it felt more planted.

The Blitz isw very popular and I think it is a very nice truck and better for those that know what the adjustments do. I still think the Slash is nice for those that don't know how to adjust their truck as much so you have less you can have wrong with the Slash so I think for those that just bash and want to race on occasion it is still a great choice. Either way both are excellent choices.

Practice last night for offroad was packed. We had over 30 signed up so their was plenty of action for the drivers and guys marshalling. We gave out free oxygen to the marshalls that needed it.
