Ok, after looking at a second time i see how they typed it and where i got confused. So it is a spec. class and a pro spec. class.

Chad you giving the Strike the boot? I did run the one Luke has and had it work pretty decent. I think with some tinkering I can make it pretty competitive. Still has a few issues with parts but sounds like Losi is getting that all straightened out. Well I mean Horizon is getting it fixed up.

I have another question on the sct rules also. The blitz comes with a lot of additional rear end tuning options as stock parts in the kit like rear toe adjustments whereas the others do not. Are those going to be allowed to be used? Kind of hard to limit the other brands if the blitz comes with these also in the box, although not installed.
To answer your question - yes you can use anything that comes in the box - all kits have there positives and negatives - the blitz does not lock out reverse and is slower than the others. The strike is also slower than the slash and has some issues with the dogbones which will be resolved soon. I could go on and on but they all have there ups and downs. Based on all of Brian's testing the fastest truck is the slash, which is great because that means I can allow them to run together and not upset anyone who bought a slash, again to reiterate this I do not want to offend anyone running the stock slash from last year, so if running it this way bothers you please let me know.

I saw some people becoming a little frustrated after reading all of today's reply's, understand that this is an open forum which provides the opportunity for everyone to see people's opinions which is great but it is just that open discussion. Until the rules are posted on bumps web site these are all just ideas in an open forum. I will post the offroad rules the begining of next week after this weekend to see how it all pan's out, and to get drivers opinions that don't get on here.
Sincerely
Chris

I love the idea of the novice and pro classes! I think alot of people will like it. This keeps the cost of the classes down and keeps it more of a driver class. The novice guys should be happy because they don't have to run against people who have alot more experience and would probably beat them all the time. I remember when I first started out how frustrating it was to run against guys who had been racing for years and unless they had bad luck, I had no shot at winning. Plus, I always felt like I was in their way. The only bad thing about this is that now I can't use the (new guy wreaked me) excuse. HaHa!

Brian and Chris, I know running a track can be a headache! I used to help run a track also and I know that you can't please everyone. At the end of the day, it's your call! I love driving 3 hours to race at your track and eat those Bump Burgers! So, hopefully these new rules will be set in stone, but whatever you guys decide, we all will have to abide by them. Once all the rules are finalized and the headaches are over, I will buy you guys a beer or 2!
