Traction is great at BnJ for oval. I'm guessing the off road to be the same. 8.5 would be killer.

Sorry, but no novak esc. I run tekin esc's and run both novak and lrp cans.
I like the tekin esc's. they are small and you can tune and update them just like castle esc's. I run the rs in my 2wd's and a rs pro in my 4wd. I allways carry a small laptop with me to the track. I have the tekin, castle, and losi software loaded in case anyone needs to tune there esc.

Yes the Tekin RS esc's are sweet. Do you have an opinion on the Tekin redline motors? What LRP would you suggest? Are you going to run the open SCT class? I like the laptop idea at the track.

Cool. It is alot less tension at Bumps.

Look forward to Bumps getting busy here in about a month. Going to be a great year for oval and the offroad.

The other thing for those of you that can't make some races I will have Chris post the results here for everyone to see. You can keep track of how the racers are doing and check in on your buddies.

So i'll have to run my SC8E in with 1/8 buggies and truggies?

I have not run a redline motor, they seem nice but don't really know. I run a 7.5 in my mod truck and it has plenty of power. I would not suggest anything bigger than that. I guess i will have to run in the mod class if i want to run my SC10 since they are not going to allow them to run with the slashes. Going to have to pick up another tekin rs and prob. a novak ballistic 10.5. (been wanting to try them)

I wouldn't sell the SC10. Just run the open class with it as I already talked a few guys that are going to run this class. A cheap brushless system and maybe a tire change would be all I think you need for the open SCT class. I'm sure plenty of pretty stock Slash guys will run this just because they can put in a brushless. I'm leaning that way now.

too late, already did to fund the sc8e.
also sold the 4600 mamba out of it and all my goosebumps

I'm going to get the Ballistic 10.5 myself with the Havoc Pro and see how that works.

What time do the races end on a typical points day? I do not like racing on Sunday but with Pitstop not running nitro anymore this year I am really itching to run my gas truck this winter.
