used to race at j&k and when they closed down i had gotten out of and want to get back into racing but have to upgrade all my stuff and wanted to check out bumps and jumps and some local tracks that have opened since getting out of it i have never been to bumps and maybe this weekend will ride down to check it out.

I think i knew him he ran gas truck and the monster truck but then sold everything Bruce how the Hell are you ? have not seen you since Danville

Not racing at all for a while sold all the oval stuff and now have a truggy and 1/10th truck looking foward to one of the tracks this summer

Tech Regular
Had a great time yesterday. The turnout was a bit low due to the weather and I guess a few racers felt the track was too difficult for them so they packed it in and rolled out. What's up with that???
The track was the same for everyone, and to be honest, I heard nothing but good things about the track design from most everyone that was there. Was it technical? Absolutely! Did you have to really think about the lines you were going to take? Umm, YEP!! Kudos to Mckinney and Haas for laying down a bada$$ track for this race. I know I liked it as did most everyone else.
I personally want to thank HPI RACING, PROLINE RACING, McALLISTER RACING, AND THE GRAVE DIGGER CREW. These manufacturers and teams donated a pile of awesome products for the raffle this weekend. If you were not there, you unfortunately missed out on an opportunity to show a local family some much needed support. I think Chris said the tally was somewhere around $500. If not for the companies listed above this could not have been possible. A BIG THANK YOU is also in order to the many racers who generously spent their money on the raffle. You guys really stepped it up and it was cool to see racers just dropping money in at random. No amount of money can bring back a life, but we showed a family that 65 or so strangers came together for them in their darkest time.
I hope I can make it up at least one more time before the season ends but if not, I'm sure I'll see quite a few of you guys at G's, Pitstop, Hobbyrama, or Awesome R/C. I had a great season of racing and even though Bumps is a 3 hour drive, I see myself returning every year for the fall/winter season. The great facility, friendly racers, super close and competitive racing will keep my calendar full.
One last thing and I'll be done with the book I've written...Congrats and Thanks are in order for Jason Haas, Gunnar Rieck, & Jeff Cisney. You guys do great things on and off the track for SMC. Keep it up!!

I had a Great Time !!! THANKS BRYAN for the POWER TO GO, AND thanks Chris for a Place to GO. Hopefully you will install the retractable roof systems so those nice days can be enjoyed while racing!!
