You'll need it. This is a horsepower track. Fuel mileage is nil at this joint.

Yesterday we made a few track changes and tuned up the pipe, the track is ready. We are watering all day today and maybe all night, pending weather. We will have the track open at 9am tomorrow morning for practice and the first heat will be on the track at 12:30. Parking will become an issue in the afternoon with spectators and Cycle shop customers so I need you guys to help me keep the front parking lot clear of RC parking. We can use the grass area between the track and the highway and there is power out ther on the light pole. The entire back lot will be open for pitting, we are moving out all of the ATV rigs so there will be more room than normal. We are putting our EZ up line out back so the side concrete is open and free game. If anyone is coming in late tonight or any other questions, please e mail me ahead of time. [email protected]

Thanks,

Kevin

Rain is gone, track should be dialed by the 9am openning time. Hope you all have a safe trip and I'll see you in a couple hours.

Thanks,

Kevin.

The few puddles that were on the track are drained, the only bad spot is a marshal area that should be dry by 9am, 80% of the track is dry enough to walk on now (6:30 am) so by practice time at 9 am this thing will be sweet! The parking lot is already drying, the rain has been stopped for hours and there is blue sky in sight. The temps and humidity are the best we have had all week. It's gonna be a great day.

Thanks,

Kevin.

Great day of racing today/tonight guys. Thanks for another awesome place Kevin and the crew. Finished packing for this weeks trip and heading out at 6:00 to Dulles to catch a flight to Alabama. Glad to meet the new people at the track and hope to see everyone again next month.

I'd like to thank everyone for coming out yesterday. I know everyone had their doubts about the weather and the track conditions but I think it turned out really well. The track grooved up and held up well, maybe even a little better that I expected. The turnout was good (over 70 entries), and who knows how many more would have come if the rain would have not kept them away. We still need to work on my "how to run a race" skills but I think we're getting better. I hope to see you all again in Aug for our next big event.

Special thanks to: Big John, Jason Mackanick, & Rob Wike. I could not have done it without you guys!

I'll have the results posted asap.

Next week I'm digging up the loop and putting in a new one. I want to make sure the scoring system is 100%.

If anyone has track change suggestions for the August race, now would be the time to tell me.

Thanks again to everyone who came out yesterday, I had a blast and I hope you all did aswell.

Kevin.
