C.R.

I quit tonight at 9:15, working by the Bobcat lights. Portable work light require a cord, power doesn't come to for another week or so. I'm trying the best I can to have this place pimped out for the first race on May 8th. Wait till you guys see the track now, we are really getting somewhere now. The stair case turned out sweet (thanks to Aaron relocating it due to my mistake early in the day today) and the S turn before it will be a place for Morris to give us all a lesson on how to hug the pipe. I'm getting excited to see what the lap time will be, I'm guessing 40 plus. If the rain holds off tomorrow things will start to tie together and maybe we will be able to put in a few sight laps. I'll keep you all posted on the weather tomorrow morning.

Thanks to you guys for the help today, and Jason for "swinging by" on his way home from a family outing.

Kevin.

Kevin...I was just joking about the lights...I'm sure you're are doing the best with the time you have and are going to make the track right...

I think motorama was around 35 to 40 per lap...I could be wrong

Kevin, this track is going to be awesome! It is a real privilege to get to work with you and learn how it is supposed to be done! Exciting stuff is going on at LCRC

Sorry I couldn't stay longer. It looks like today is a wash (no pun intended)

I got the joke, it's the same crap that Christa gives me about working too late on this RC stuff. It's all good, I kinda like it.

I'm re-thinking the wagon wheel, after the rain today, I'm wondering how well it will drain. Any thoughts???

You know it's always a pleasure to work with you aswell, I enjoy the time and I'm thankful for the help. Our hard work is going to pay off, thanks to mother nature's test and tune on the drainage system today, it's working well. The banks and slopes on the track surfaces will have this place race ready in a day after a big rain.

I stood in the rain for over an hour this morning looking at the track from the driver's stand and came to a few conclusions. The stair case is going to be sweet, the big jump section is not big enough, the daytona turn will work out great with the sprinklers on that side of the track, and as for the front straight...well lets just say my imagination is getting out of hand again.

Thanks again for the help.

Kevin

Great progress guys! I certainly can appreciate what goes into making a track build happen. Definitely have your track on my to-do list this year. I enjoy seeing the images as it unfolds so keep them coming.

Thanks for the good vibes, that's what keeps up all going!

It takes a lot of work to make a track, even a small track. Anyone who complains about a track layout or track's condition has never tried to build one. I give props to anyone who works in the dirt on their own track.
