D. 100 feet

Question #2. How wide should the front straight be?
A. 10 feet (ROAR rules minimum)
B. 12 feet
C. 15 feet

Question #3. Should there be any obstacles on the front straight?
A. Double jumps
B. Table tops
C. Whoops
D. None of the above (Flat)
200 ft long 15 feet wide with double jumps. The tiltyard is similar to this and they have 3 sets of doubles on the front straight. The doubles get bigger and further apart with each set. The third set is 16 ft apart. If you screw up timing on the first two, you will never clear the third. About 20 seconds into this video is a good example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7q-glT4HrI A 200 ft flat straight is going to make those engines sounds like they are coming through the head halfway through it. The back stretch in the video had this effect.

Keep in mind if the front stretch is close to the drivers stand and it is real long it will be tough to see either end since we can't see through Tom's radio. Put a bow in the front stretch though and the length doesn't become an issue. Do away with grown folks standing on crates also. Good morning Thomas.

The baddest transition off a strait away i have seen yet
Would love to see something like this at LCRC!!! If the banked turn is going to eat up to much dirt just bank it a couple DEGS and we can flat track it!!!!
The roller into the S is awesome!!!

If the exit of the strait is going to be fast the strait can be shorter. If its going to be 180 DEG make it longer.12 feet or better would be nice to get by the guys who don't like going strait down the strait away

Good suggestion. I like the 200ft with 12ft lanes. table tops are good for both 1/8 and sct.

The Nitro Pit always has some really cool stuff! I've been watching so many videos from there, they have track building figured out.

I might not be sure on what I'm doing with the front stretch but I do know we will have a small sweeper at the end with a 50' banked straight into a Daytona style banked turn that will require you to run up on the banking, coming out on another banked short shoot.

I can't wait to see pull it off.
That's what I'm talkin about!!!!! You don't have motors modded or purchase race motors to go slow!!! SCT?? You don't build a 90 by 200 for sct!!! It's called NITRO

Kevin said nothing and no one is getting over looked in this track design.
Oxygen station at the top of the steps on the drivers stand.
Single use depends at each Marshall location,in case you cant make it back.
On sight bobcat in case you fall and cant get back up!!!
Search and rescue dog if you get lost on the way back from the far right corner of the track.

Length doesn't matter to me whatever it takes to make it fun. I would say 12' wide and a combo of Table tops and jumps/doubles. (Something like what sleepy hollow used to have right where everyone watched from might be cool a jump onto a table top.) that way the sct's can go wide open and make the jump onto the top then the 8th scales can clear it. Also was just thinking maybe a triple for 8th that way the sct's and electric mod can single double or double single.
