Saturday, Aug 18th, LCRC Raceway will hold it's first "Double Down Day" which means one day, one track, two races! After last week's night race we thought about changing the cash race from day to night, but then I thought that wouldn't be fair to the people who were already planning on coming to the day light cash race. The solution is simple, 3D it is! Here's how it's gonna go down...
Track will be open Saturday morning from 7-10am for practice.
Signup for the day race will close at 9:30am.
Driver's meeting at 10am
First heat goes off at 10:15am
2 rounds of 6 min heats
20 min nitro A's, 15 min nitro B's
10 min Electric A's, 8 min Electric B's
Entry fee will be $20 per class
Cash payout will be based on $5 of each entry going toward the payout of each A main, the number of spots that will be paid in each A will depend on the number of entries in that class.
And then...
The track will be open for at least 1 hour of practice and in that hour sign up will be open for the night race.
2 rounds of 6min heats
15 min Nitro A's, 10 min B's
10 min elec A's, 8 min B's
Entry fee will be $20 per class
Cash payout will be based on $5 of each entry going toward the payout of each A main, the number of spots that will be paid in each A will depend on the number of entries in that class.
At the end of the night, there will be some prizes for the combine score of both races but the money will be per race.
You can come early and leave after the day race, you can show up early afternoon and watch the mains from the day and then sign up and race the night race, or you can come early and stay late for a full day of racing.
I hope you like it, (it was actually Christa's idea)
I'm sure there will be lots of questions, please feel free to call the shop, e mail of ask on the forums.
Thanks,
Kevin

I realize your company is in the middle of your fiscal year. I have a predicament that I am in. I had no idea that my local rc track, LCRC, was going to start scheduling night racing. I could use some additional sponsorship help for the remaining races on the schedule. I would proudly display your Original Spiced Rum in a Solo cup during these night races.
Sincerely Cowboy's Dad.

Bounty Challenge
Hey guys and gals, if you have not been up to LCRC for the last few races then you are missing something special. There is a local "Hot Shoe" that just started racing 1/8 scale nitro. He has been racing about 7 years and got his first 1/8 scale electric over the winter and in May got into 1/8 nitro buggy racing. His name is Alex Miller. He won the last two Buggy A-mains at LCRC and is looking better and better each week. Think you can beat him? I got a $20 LCRC gift certificate to the shop if you win the 1st Buggy A-main Alex is in. The only stipulation is you can not have a chassis sponsor.
Think your good enough to to take on the "Big Dogs"? Jason Schreffler is that Big Dog! I got another $20 LCRC gift certificate to the shop if you can win the 2nd Buggy A-main that Jason is in. He is getting his new stuff dialed in and looks pretty damn fast. No stipulations for this one.
Ok people, there are already two cash races Saturday at LCRC, now you have a chance to pick up an extra $40 on me cause I like watching great racing. So come out early Saturday and practice cause these guys will already be here there.
