I figured this was to just to drop a hint to Mike Cleary he has more room for a real tent for him to sleep in instead of that burrito looking cocoon thing that he calls roughing it.

Not 2 tracks this season, maybe by 2013/14. Just making room for more motorhomes and better parking. We just opened "Grayek Drive" Between the track and the highway. Should keep the mud bogs to a minimum. looking forward to a great 2012 season.

Glad to see more parking

It got tight in there on a big race day. During the Halloween race I had to park in the back and do some off roading.

Can't believe I caught this post... just getting my head above H2O enough to start looking at RCTech with new job and baby, I'm hurtin! I'm so happy for you all on landing a giant race... too funny how the biggest escale following around are all going to nitro for this race. Love it!

I'm thinking of upgrading my sleeping situation to a hammock type rig vs a bivy sack... just having a hard time finding what I want that will support 260pds.

I realize that everyone has nitro on the brain right now because of the big race but could one of you LCRC regulars help me out with a good base setup for a HB D8 Hara with the TeknoV4 chassis? I just am mainly looking for shock weights, springs, diff fluids, pretty much a good starting point.

Thanks guys!!!! Can't wait to hit the track

The nitro to electric setups are not that different on most vehicles. Here is a good place to start http://www.hotbodiesonline.com/pdfs/...09jnats_d8.pdf

Yea, I have most of the hotbodies setups printed out already but wasn't sure just exactly how different they would be from nitro to electric. I know the electric is a bit heavier so I would assume slightly heavier shock oils/springs maybe?

The electric is normally heavier in the rear. The VE8 setups may get you closer since they accommodate for the heavier rear weight from the batteries.

It's supposed to be 56 and Sunny with a 0% chance of rain on Saturday. Any chance of having practice all day?

Somebody wants to get mud all over his new XB9 so his dad can clean it.
