Hey...I know some of you guys can give me some insight here. Would my fancy High Voltage servos (hitech HS-7950TH and HS-7940TH) from my nitro truggy serve and good purpose in an E-buggy setup? I think they'll work on 6v ,but there much slower etc and would defeat the purpose of them without being able to up the bec voltage right?. Would be using a RX8 esc. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks....

I'd also consider selling them maybe if anyone's looking....

OK guys, I'm posting this out of 100% frustration.... what are the chances of somebody helping me out soldering some wires on my ESC tuesday night? The only soldering gun I have is straight out of the 1800's and I dont have the patience to work with crap like that. My ESC just almost became a flying projectile across my garage

I plan on being there on Tuesday (with my iron). Although I have been out of the game for 4ish years and recently came back, I can still solder and would definitely be willing to help! What are the plans for Tuesday though? Is the new layout done or there going to be work going on? Either way, I'll come to practice or work!

This weather has pushed us back on changing the the layout. This weeks Tuesday practice will run as usual on the old layout. I'm pulling pipe this coming Wednesday. Our goal will be to have the new layout done in time for next Tuesday so we can get it tuned up for the cash race on the 24th.

Any time you need something soldered just bring it in and I'll get you fixed up.

They should work fine with an RX8. They will not work so well with a MMP without an external BEC.

I have one in each of my E cars, one with a MMP and the other with an RX8, both work just fine.

That sucks, I don't think I've gotten to race with you once all year so far. Maybe next month...

Pipe is up, equipment is here and the sun is up. The major track change is underway. New layout will be open at 5pm on Tuesday. Hope to see everyone next week.

Upcoming race schedule:

Sat Sept 24-cash race ($100-50-25 min for 1/8 classes)
Sat Oct 1-ROAR Region 2 1/8 championships (awards to top 10 in 1/8 & top 3 in sct)
Sat Oct 15-3rd Annual Halloween Race ($100-50-25 min 1/8, $50-30-15 min in sct) Lots of prizes and extra's at this one, last year's entries were over 125

Thanks,

Kevin
