What are the fees to race? Are there fees to practice on the track too?

Count me in for 10th scale 4wd buggy. I don't want to take on too many classes at once till I see how I do. I would also run 8th E truggy and maybe a third, either 8th E buggy or 8th nitro buggy.

I'm also going to be racing my baja 5b at Greenwood Valley in Orangeville, Pa (near Bloomsburg) so I don't know what days that will be.

I'm pretty much going to be a field filler for a while till I get a hang of racing.

Chris,

Our race fees vary, club race fee of $15 for the first and $10 for the second. On regular cash race days it's usually $20 per class. On multi day races the fees will be a bit more, haven't decided on an exact amount yet but I'm thinking $25 per class.

Tuesday Practice fee is $10.

Thanks,

Kevin

Default 17.5

I plan on running the Losi 2x4 xxx SCT in the 17.5 class. This is what i did to it.

1: Chassis cover
2: AKA city blocks mounted on RTR rims
3: 17.5 Brushless combo.

Is this ok?

Are we gonna seperate the 2wd and the 4wd mod sct classes this year. Only cause I'm looking to add another sct to my arsenal. Oh yeah. My buggy is up on ebay if anybody's interested.

I think that is a good question and I believe the answer depends on the turnout. Like last year, there really was not a large enough turn out for a stand alone 4x4 class. With vendors coming out with new rides, hopefully the 4x4 will get bigger, but most of the guys that I know who own 4x4's are the ones buying them. I do not see many new faces coming to the 4x4 game. Then, the other problem is getting all those guys to the same track at the same time. So, I am doubtful on the split, but attendance will be the only way to determine which way we go and I am pretty sure that will have to be evaluated at each race.

I agree on a separate 4x4 and 2x4 class also. I have a 2x4 and was avoiding the open class cause I think running a 2x4 against a 4x4 in a mod class is suicide. LOL

We had no problems last year doing it. Don't judge it until you have seen it.

If we get enough to do it we will. Time will tell, I just can't make any promises.

Traxxas Slash spec will run stock slash tires

17.5/7.4v/2wd will run any 2.2 outer bead sct style tire and wheel they choose

Mod (2wd & 4wd) is open to anything, 1/8 scale wheels included.

Thanks,

Kevin

Can't wait to make the long trip up this year. Heard nothing but good things and the videos of the track are sick.

J Dee i would also like to see the classes seperated this year, i am deff planning on running my new 10T in the 4x4 class and my Kyosho in the mod class and maybe my slash in the spec class, as well as 1/8 E buggy and maybe E truggy if peeps show, gotta make it worth my 3.5 hour ride you know, lol.. My 4x4 truck would destroy my 2wd in lap times, there is no comparison between the two vehicles, one is fast and the other is balls fast. Pretty simple.
