As some of you know, Fusion has closed their doors so there will be NO racing this sunday. It will, however be replaced by Surf City Raceway every 3rd Sunday of the month. One door closes, another one opens. Race on my friends!

Is this a track set up in a parking lot? If so how is the condition of the asphalt? Any type of track prep you guys do?

How much is the Club fee? Can't make it to this weekends race when is the next?

Thanks

All of the tracks are parking lots and are prepped. All are blown, mopped, then sprayed with traction compound.
We do not have any club fees, etc. We just charge $20 for 1st entry, then $10 each additional entry. We also have a 5' driver's stand as well as AMB transponders. Next weekend(August 23rd) we will be racing at Hobbytown Corona's P-lot. We give out race bucks for 1st through 3rd there.(7 car or more per class).

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask again.

Thank you for the info. I'm a Club Member at Crystal Park and when we are not having Club Races I want to attend other races to shine my driving skills up.

I'm interested in attending next weeks race ... just a couple more questions..

What is the condition of the parking lot? How are Foam tires holding up there?

Is the track a decent size?

Thanks again

Parking lot has good traction and has only one little bump on the straight. Track is 125x50 roughly. Foams hold up good now that we have been using our traction compound on the track. come on out and have some fun!

Sounds good to me, its all about the fun in the hobby!

I will most likely make it out to the up coming race.

What classes do you offer?

I noticed on your flyer on page one there are trucks and buggies running onroad as well.

What are the more popular manufactures you see people running at your track?

Thanks again for all the answers ... will probably bring a few friends to race as well.

hey there.

Since i cater to every kind of RC class, we have all skill levels from Beginner, Intermediate, Sportsman, and Expert as well as the different classes from the sedans to offroad vehicles. We don't stress on pro-level competition because it is intimidating for most newbies so we try to have a low key, relaxed environment so everyone can enjoy. It's all about fun for us. We have been around since '97 so we have pretty much seen everything.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing you at Corona this Sunday! Lets have a ball racers!
