I just hope u can keep things going through the warm months when most race outdoors.. April - Octpber....
I have just heard it is hard for some infoor tracks to survive the summer months... I hope U are prepared... thats all....

I am sure to be up a few times before then. with some friends--..
We have been itching for a few years for a indoor dirt track within driving distance...

I know he did plan for being a little slower during the summer months. It will be nice to have a place to run in the spring when it rains on the weekends like it always seems to do.

Yes I am planning on being a little slow during the summer month's, but I also expect good turnouts.
I will have most of the track sourounded by garage doors.
There should be a good cross flow of air movement in the building,
with no sun beating on the track or you.
I personally like running on indoor clay, consistent traction and little dust.
I updated the site with new pics this morning.

I would say he is not open yet. He is getting closer though. He is at the mercy of the contractors and inspectors. They both move like syrup in Siberia during winter. Last I was their 2 weeks ago the buiding is all up and he had lights up. The heat was coming that weekend. I know he is working his ass off to get it race ready.

I know alot of guys that will still run at Bumps and Jumps no matter what days he goes with. Chris will just need to try some things out to see what works and then make his decision. Chris needs to start somewhere so he has a schedule now so lets see how it goes first for him. Chris will make the schedule changes as needed.

Hi Maacrw
Those hours are only for the cold months. No we won't race saturdays oval like newville does. The truth is I need the oval and the offroad guys to cover my overhead. If I run saturday offroad in the summer I will have to compete against pitstop and J&K. What is the best answer? I don't know, but I am begining to think it is best to not worry about other tracks and make yours the best it can be and race when the schedule best fits. When do you want to race? Where are you from? How long will it take you to get here?

Just an update for everyone, I have been working like crazy to get stuff done. I got the sewer line in yesterday, after I slept in my car all night so I could fill the pump with gas every 4 hours. I hit two or three springs and had a 3" pump running wide open to get rid of it. All that is left is to backfill it. The gas line is going in today. The concrete floor is monday and I might bring in clay on friday.

Chris you won;t have to worry about J&K as it is 2 1/2 hours from you. Just do the schedule you want to start with and work from their. Nice thing is if it don't work you can always change it.
