Hey all,

Recently decided to get back into RC. It's been 10 years. I used to race down in CT so I have been looking around for local tracks in Burlington.

Little did I know, this track was right under my nose. Seems to be in good condition for a "club track." I will definitely be using it this summer.

Here is a video I took a couple days ago. Just showcasing the layout and condition.

...Well I was going to post a link but I cant...

Youtube video title is "Sears Lane Raceway 10/08/2012"

@decal and everyone else, I am also returning to the hobby after a few years (10). I too stumbled on this track from a different post recently on a different fourm. However they indicated this track was no longer in use. I stopped by last night noticed the track appears to still be in pretty good shape and looks like it has been raced on in the past year. Is there a community club out there interested in racing and maintaining this space. I also have a lot of questions about the new rustler truck I bough, and I can't always find my answers online and would like to be a part of a club that can help me understand the workings of my truck.

I was one of the Sears Lane racers that was involved with the track up through the end of 2010. I then moved away to another region of the US. I LOVED racing there and am anxious to see the track revived! I believe the track had an off season in 2011 but I have had a lot of interest in revamping the track come my way lately. There is some huge potential for this to be one of the best tracks in New England again! Very fast and smooth and there is a watering system there. It just needs some love and TLC and elbow grease. Really excited to see how the track progresses this summer. Good luck to all those involved.
