debbies sucks...outdoor racing sucks...HT might suck but at least it is indoors...and you can actually get service there if they dont know you...debbies is full of stuck ups that wanna cheat and debbies dyno's all motors before they are sold, takes the best for themselves and sells the "lower output" motors...

Hey now, let's keep it civil. Where's HT and to me, having any hobby shop that runs a decent track is a good thing... I buy motors and stuff like that off the web so they can dyno all they want, wont affect me.

It's around the 4500 block of Virginia Beach Blvd, behind the Applebees.

Hobbytown is the only store in Virginia Beach that has provided an indoor track over the last 3 years...that my change, enjoy it while you can.

Debbies is a great hobby shop... the dorks work behind the counter there.

Whatever...... WE don't dyno ANY motors. We don't even have a dyno. You just couldn't handle the competition and had to go race where you wouldn't get spanked every race day. As far as ordering your stuff online .....Keep it up, but...... when your local hobby shop closes because it didn't have any support don't whine when you don't have a track to race at. When was the last time you saw anyone from Debbies racing electrics? I am the only one there with an electric car (12 scale). Everything else I own is nitro offroad. We all have offroad stuff. Oh yeah.....Don't get to comfortable at the HT track. Rumor has it that the building they race in is under contract and will be sold soon........ Maybe we can get a carpet track somewhere else if that is true... In the meantime you might want to get used to running outside...... see ya

Funny.............unlike a "rumor"..........the "truth" is that HT's track space has not been taken. So keep racing.

"rumor" or not ...... I hope you are right. There is nothing...."funny"..... about losing a track anywhere.

Slingblade,
You need to stop looking at that 12th scale and come out and race it. The track opens at 10 AM and racing starts around 12.

Hey, if it makes you feel more at home we'll have Larry come and yell "I need turn marshalls & pick up that trash" , LOL

Tomorrow should be a good turn out

PS. as far as the dynoing goes...they may pick up some of the better "pro" motors, dynoing motors would be a lot of work: break in the motor, change brushes & springs, align hoods, cut comm, dyno and then take all the stuff off and cut the comm again.

90% of the people there could care less who wins the A main. These are toy cars and it's only a Hobby.

i would love to see another track...one that tech's the cars...but i will race on a ratty indoor track than outdoors...and if you buy the pro version...you dont have to cut the com and break it in and change the brushes...the pro's come ready to go...i have cut every pro that i have owned and the com took one pass to clean it...??? so it would not take alot of time...and about winning...i like to compete...and actually race not just get out there and drive around on a track...you can do that anywhere...and dont be scared to bring that 12th scale and let the dorks spank ya...L8R
