"Good afternoon all,
I am building a track in my backyard. I am still in the planning stage. I have already cleared out the area. How wide should the lanes be? I don't have alot of area to use.Maybe 20X38 give or take. I was thinking about two T3's wide? Once the track is done I think I could run Five max on the track. Also any advise on jumps, whoops and how many would be appreciated." said Shrek.

You want advice? And about that dollar you were allegedly shorted, come on by, im sure I have some quarters in my ash tray. Don't start e-thugin, we don't want to hear it.
I do believe I corrected by first comment.I know that would involve having to read it first. As far as "e-thugin" I do beileve that is what you are doing right now. As far as building a track, sorry I don't know how to build a track. And I asked on a forum which is designed around asking questions.Since when are you speaking for everyone on the forum? Last time I checked people on the forum where allowed to post comments good or bad as they pleased. If you would have read my second comment I apologized to Mike. As far as the missing dollar. That dollar might make the difference is someone coming back or not. Try searching R.O.A.R. I read a thread recently about track management that I think would be a good thing to imply to the Hemet track. Which I was going to talk to Mike about. Which would take care of that very problem and who didn't have any info on what the classes the track was running.

He has been getting a pretty good turnout of Slashes on Weds nights. Last week probably had 15 out there. As for the SC's.. Havent seen many, but to be honest, I think that the current layout would be a pretty fun for that class. If enough show up, I know Mike would have no problem running them, as long as they have a transponder.
I would suggest bringing out the SC8 and giving it a try on the track. Weds seem to be a popular night for practice.

Check out www.hemetraceway.com for schedule. The site is still a work in progress, but it has the basic info for now.

By the way... The layout on the site is NOT the current layout. He will need to update that picture ASAP.

It was a pretty decent turnout last night, for Friday night racing. I had a lot of fun. It is cool to see that racing, at hemet, is picking up. We had enough to have a few heats on the new layout. 7 minutes quals, and 20 minute mains is always fun. Maybe next time we can run even longer mains.

The new layout is pretty fun, and more technical that what has been there. Lap times are pretty decent @ 35+ seconds. I think my fastest were 33's.

A few pix of the new layout... I'll see about getting more pix on the site.

Default Fun layout

This track layout is fast. Don't miss the 1st annual Turkey Shootout in November. Just like the good ol' days....

I hope the SD crowd made it up tonight, and had some fun. I was bummed I didn't get to make it out tonight. I had some unexpected things come up, so I had to bail out.

Last weekend I had some clutch bearings go out (MY FAULT!) and took me out in the main! Was hoping to get out to redeem myself this weekend.

Oh well. It's great to see that new faces are making the trip up to HCR! Hope to catcha out there next Friday!

Keep checking the website for the results from tonight. They should be up by tomorrow.
