Does anyone know if the "The Dirt Nitro challenge is coming back to Hemet for 2012? I saw something on Neo buggy about an early sign up sheet that is going to be posted.

No, its still going to be in the Phoenix Az. area just at a different track than before.

Friday Night Shootout Series Rules
14 and UNDER
-Any 1/10 scale or smaller electric vehicle as you bring it.
2wd STOCK SHORT COURSE
-No sponsored drivers!
-Any STOCK current production 2 wheel drive short course vehicle may be used.
-Any Servo, *Brushed/Brushless Speed Control, Transmitter, and Receiver may be used.
*No Boost or Timing Advance allowed
-Must use one of the following Stock Spec motors:
--2200kv/17.5t Brushless Motor. Labeling must be clear. NO TIMING ADVANCE
--27t Brushed Motor. Labeling must be clear. NO TIMING ADVANCE
-Any 2 cell LiPo/LiFe or 6-7 cell NiMH battery pack may be used.
-Any option parts for use on Short Course vehicles is allowed.
-Any tire made specifically for a 1/10 scale Short Course vehicle may be used.
-Any body made specifically for a 1/10 scale Short Course vehicle may be used.
ALL STOCK VEHICLES WILL UNDERGO A TECHNICAL INSPECTION PRIOR TO THE RACE TO
VERIFY THE USE OF A STOCK SPEC MOTOR AS LISTED ABOVE.
2wd SHORT COURSE MODIFIED/EXPERT
-Any current production 2 Wheel Drive Short Course vehicle may be used.
-Any Servo, Brushed/Brushless Speed Control, Transmitter, and Receiver may be used.
-Any motor not exceeding 540 in size may be used.
-Any 2 cell LiPo/LiFe or 6-7 cell NiMH battery pack may be used.
-Any option parts for use on Short Course vehicles is allowed.
-Any tire made specifically for a 1/10 scale Short Course vehicle may be used.
-Any body made specifically for a 1/10 scale Short Course vehicle may be used.
4wd SHORT COURSE SPORTSMAN/EXPERT
-Any current production 4 Wheel Drive Short Course vehicle.
-Any Servo, Brushed/Brushless Speed Control, Transmitter, and Receiver may be used.
-Any 540 or 550 size motor.
-Any 2 cell LiPo/LiFe or 6-7 cell NiMH battery pack may be used.
-Any option parts for use on Short Course vehicles is allowed.
-Any tire made specifically for a 1/10 scale Short Course vehicle may be used.
-Any body made specifically for a 1/10 scale Short Course vehicle may be used.
LOSI XXX-SCB OPEN
This is a new class and we are running it in an open format. What this means is that all vehicles,
stock or modified, will be running together. As this class progresses we will divide the stock and
modified vehicles in to separate classes.
RACE FORMAT
-All qualifying races will 5 minutes in duration.
-B and lower Main races, as well as 14 and Under A-Main race, will be 5 minutes in duration.
-2wd and 4wd A-Main races will be 7 minutes in duration.
-There will 2 bumps per class in to the A-Main.
-Transponders are not required, but are HIGHLY recommended

We've complete our new layout and it will be ready for Round #2 of the Friday Night Shootout Series. So far we have had positive feedback on the layout and are excited for everyone to experience it this Friday night. The forecast is looking good! As it stands right now the track will be good-to-go and we will be racing tomorrow and Saturday. For Round #4 of the End of Summer Race Series the gates will open at 5:00pm and racing will start at 6:30pm. Don't forget to bundle up as the weather seems to be getting a little chilly.
