Poopy, I just remembered I stripped out the rims in the rear of my SC10. Anybody have an extra set? If not I will make something work. I may make something work any but if someone has an extra pair then I for sure can run it.

Yea i got a pair of stock black ones u can run... bring your old ones with you down to LRH tomarrow and ill take them to AE on wensday or thursday and get you a new pair . < they have a new mold that they made where the gaps on the wheel are filled, so they dont strip anymore. I have run myn with a castle 5700 on bowties and there is 0 signs of it stripping the new wheels are winner !

Then ill bring em to westcoast or you can come back to LRH and pick em up.

kevin

edit - What time are you guys planning on coming down ?

For an RC10T4 using Tekin electronics and a Thunder Power 2s 40C pack, how big of a pinion should I run? I currently have none, but wanna buy a few.

I'm using the Novak Ballistic 13.5T motor.

Should I go with 17, 18, 19, 20, 22...23? Please let me know.

Hope to run on the track this weekend.

Whats ur spur ?

75/23 works really good from what i have heard, a friend runs his sc10 with a 13.5 novak and he runs that with cool temps and its fast as hell.

so 22-23 would be a good starter.

I'm running the stock spur that came with the T4 (Factory Team version if it makes a difference).

I'll get 21,22,23 and maybe the 24. Robinson makes a starter kit to help "tune" your car and it only runs about $12. When I find the "perfect" pinion, I can get the hardened/coated/treated version. Thanks!

For 13.5 those pinions are all too small. If you are running the 75 spur I would have 24-28. I am running the equivalent of 75/27 in my XXX-TCR. This may be a touch over geared for LRH as going down would get your more grunt but that gearing worked pretty good last time I was out there.

Keep an eye on motor temps. Try to keep them under 160 but never over 180.
