What is the spec for the stock class motor and esc aswell as mod so maybe do both? Money isn't a problem but I like to do thing once and want a esc that will handle all motors pretty much so it covers my future racing and the motors for stock and most popular mod motor? Thanks for you help want to save money by doing it right!!!

Smile 1/10 on road racing in San Marcos

Hello,
Fairly new to rc racing, but very anxious to get going and gain some experience, get to know some local racers, and have some fun.
Can someone give me the name of one or two local racers that I can contact
who would be willing to give me info/help getting started in your races please?
Also, could someone let me know what your race schedule is?
Last request, I have just aquired two used Xray 1/10 Touring cars. One is a roller, (no electrics) T1 EVO2, with some spare parts, and the other is a Xray T2 008, (rubber) that is complete with a 10.5 motor. I would appreciate being able to talk with someone local that could give me some info. on properly setting one or both up for your races.
I'm somewhat handicapped, but more than willing to do what I can to help out with whatever you need doing at your races, (as long as I can get a little racing in too). Thanks, robertmjr.

Default Stock and Mod

Hi Bugzilla 62,
I asked the gentleman I got the 008 from. He said hands down it would be an LRP SPX Competion esc. The motor would depend on which class you were primarily interested in. I had researched Novak, and had come up with one of the GTB ESC that is compatible with the 2.4 ghz system. He said the LRP was far better. Thanks for your efforts to help, this seems kinda like a ghost town, Robertmjr.
