Thanks for the kind words fellas...I worked my tail off Sunday to get this finished so we could start getting the word out. Robert already has started to distribute it on his end, and we're both working with Kadena PA to get the word out here.
I already gave 3 copies to RC Paradise and in return they gave me 3 big banners for the track - Hot Bodies, HPI Racing, and Active Hobby. If nothing else, we can hang them on the drivers stand (or the flatbed if the stand isn't ready yet). I told Kenji I had a new livery to debut on the Vorza that involved "The Hill" logo, and he asked me for a sticker sheet of it! I think they liked it also
I'll bring the artwork of the track to Tadashi (RC SIRO) tomorrow, as he's closed on Monday's. I hope he is able to make it out on Saturday and have his Wife watch the store. He's been really good to me since Emiko closed down Top Run. I'd love to have him come out and at least set up a vendor booth if nothing else.
So, after tomorrow, I'm going full tilt to get the Vorza finished. It actually came in a while ago, but I've been so busy on the artwork I haven't had a chance to change the stock basher settings to something more race worthy (shock oils, diff oils, taking the car apart and puting it to "Paulie" specs, etc.)
So now that our track is just about done, I think it's time for a new quote Anthony...

Right now the vote is tied between the whale and the racers, drifters, and crawlers. We'll get more votes at the next bash/race session.

Jon, do you plan on bringing the generator to the track on Saturday? What about your 5b?
I have a 8x8 used canopy......free to a good home. If anyone is interested I will have it at the track Saturday.

Here is where we are at for Saturday,
Okinawa Marine has been contacted, They are going to run the flyer and info this week, cover the event on Saturday and run a full story with pics next week.
Kadena PAO has issued a press release and included it on their website, they may have reporters there as well.
AFN may cover with video.
Stars and Stripes- waiting to hear back from them to run the flyer and a quick story.
Wave 89.1- waiting to hear back on a phone interview.
Camp Courtney Electronic Sign- Announcement will go up tomorrow.
I have sent this to the JGSDF Liason to forward to their leadership to invite our Japanese Military Counterparts.
Here are a few things we need for Sat=
Power- who's got a generator and who's bringing one? (extension cords, pwer strips)
Speaker/P A System?=
7 ton w/ rails =(request submitted)
Engineer Steaks= (for banners, signs, etc)
Drip Pans= for refueling area (someone said they may have access to some?)
Fire Extinguishers= getting with base safety this afternoon.

Tents= Who has them ?, who's bringing them?

Trash Cans= Getting with Camp Services this afternoon
