It's the new dune bugy body for the Slash by Parma. See man, even when I don't make it to the race, I'm still there in spirit!

Sorry I couldn't make it guys. Started the New Year off with a fight and not even a Nintendo Wii can help solve this issue.

Yeah, saw the dune buggy body, not very good styling, plus I like just the truck body...

We had a blast on the 1st! 8 guys, Igy took it away with the Blitz...but he could have won driving backwards, I'm changing up the line for him...

Track is coming along awesome! I gotta lead on a water tank on a stand...

Keep your eyes out for a ride on lawn mower for the track, I got 200 to put towards one.

I will be starting a new thread next week as this one was related to the building of the tracks. Once it's built we actually can chat about driving on the track and not selling Ken's bl revo.

All,

I just stopped by the track around 11:15 tonight after all the rain.

All in all it looked pretty good, no real standing water on the 1/8th track that I could see.

The 1/10th scale looked really good also, there was some standing water on the lower right hand corner, but it was slowly running out the drainage cut out we left there so I pressed the dirt down a little more right there, i don't think the drainage will be a problem anymore.

the rest of the drainage reliefs we left are doing there jobs and slowly leaching the water out.

the track had a good slope to it so all the water was draining to the lower edge and draining out the cutouts.

once the water was out of the track ot was flowing steadily towards the asphalt and down into the drainage ditch.

the lower left corner where the water was standing the other day turned out real nice after reworking that area. minimal standing water, a little more dirt will fix the problem for good.

the kiddie track looked great, no standing water that I could see.

It will be interesting to see the how it all looks in the morning.

Robert

I was at the site for 2 hours this morning. Not a whole lot could be done. It was just to wet. I raked up the rocks in the three void areas of the 1/8th track. When it dries up someone can shovel out the rocks and haul them out. There was some standing water on both tracks. Paulie's bamboo area and down by turn 1 of the 1/8th track. In the void next to the Dragons Back, in front of and between the doubles, and in corner 2 of the 1/10th track. For as much rain as we have had the past week or so it really was not that bad. Hopefully the sun will visit us this week to dry everything out and remain through the 9th.
